Gemma?

I'm unsure about her. Good actress but the character isn't very good.

Still waiting to see if Gail's manhole puts in an appearance. So many possibilities to be explored in there.

Yes, that's the one. I was thinking Gemma, but didn't want to say it incase I was wrong. I just find her so funny but can never take her seriously. Her and Callum have always been quite comical IMO. I remember when they kidnapped David.

Gail's manhole has so much potential that it can really be ploughed over and over again in future when storyline ideas run dry.

That was hilarious tbh I guess the whole Corrie team thought that was 'riveting drama', hah my buttocks! It was hilarious, laughing the whole way through, no suspense or excitement, much like the Dan/Liz/Leanne/Simon 'siege' that was awful.

As much as I want to watch this live episode, there's hardly any build up at all, apart from a crappy trailer that is hilarious in itself & a few things posted on Facebook/Twitter/Instagram.

It'll be interesting to see what the viewing figures will be like, considering the second half will be shown against GBBO.

Yeah, the build up could be better. I remember how excited I was for the 50th and EastEnders 30th/25th.

I think it will get around 8-9 million and Bake Off will dip, because Corrie has a head start, and Corrie is LIVE, so people will want to watch it there and then. I'll be very surprised if they get higher than 10 million.

I was so excited for EE 30, trumendously excited, hyperventilating

I think around the 8-9 million mark too, but I'd be surprised if it got higher.

At least her manhole won't run dry if it's ploughed that much....

I like the actress, I've missed bits of Corrie lately been a while since I've saw Gemma I'd like her to become a regular. As for ratings I think 7.5m for the first half then a dip to 6m at 8.

I hope she will. I think she's good. Very genuine. Looked the actress up on wiki she has done a load of theatre so used to live performances. Like compare her to the awful Gloria. Gemma does a lot with her few lines.

Gemma is a well acted character. She looks so very different in real life on her Twitter profile and the way the Corrie make up people have her done up is quite realistic for a chavvy girl. I wonder what Callum would do without her?

Callum, his moll and his hoodlum sidekick; it is a bit early in the year for pantomime. Can we be assured that, when this 'comedy' is over, they will all be gone and forgotten?
