I hope the baby needs some kind of transplant/transfusion that can only come from a parent & then the truth will out.
I agree it's so frustrating! As for the baby's name I hope Vanessa and Kirin change it when they find out. Kirin's already proved he'll make a better father and partner the way he helped Vanessa when she gave birth. Adam didn't even ask about Vanessa!
I think something happens next week and it has to come out so the baby can be helped.

A soap is never a soap without a whose the daddy storyline but i really don't like them anymore. They are really lame. They are normally the person everyone expects it to be anyway.

BIB: That's not true. Vanessa wanted to call him John anyway but Adam and Victoria said she couldn't because of their dead family connections. But then Victoria gave Vanessa 'permission' to call the baby John. Not that Vanessa need her 'permission' of course - it was up to her what she called him.

I thought the baby had quite dark skin which should point to Kirin as the father. And I hope when the truth comes out Kirin punches Rakish hard on the nose!

With so many key villagers bonding with the baby the fall-out from the reveal should be epic and something that ED usually does so much better than the other soaps.

* Victoria is still struggling to accept the baby and their relationship may be strained as Adam starts bonding with "his" son.

That's all before we see how Kiran and Vanessa will react.
If the lad never speaks to his father again it will be too soon in my book!
The nicest part of the story line was that Kiran was there for the birth. I also thought it was lovely when he gave a little smile when he heard it was a boy. I know they're not a popular couple on here but, I do find their relationship far more believable than some others in ED.

Adam Fielding who place Kirin is Irish-Italian and don't think he looks Indian at all. Again miscast. Kirin should have been played by an Indian actor. Having said that I think Adam Fielding is a better actor than the Adam Thomas. I can believe Priya's daughter looks completely Indian. Priya is meant to be mixed race and David is very fair and blonde. Again TPTB cant be bothered to do any research.

Agree with all of that. Totally LOVED it when he smacked Jai, what a complete moron (Jai's) become. Truth needs to out, I actually liked Rakesh before this storyline.
I think it's good they're leaving it a bit tbh.. they're gonna want to have Adam bond with the baby and then snatch it away when it turns out he's not the actual father. Not to mention have Kirin and Belle establish more of a relationship before rocking the boat with the baby reveal. And the longer they leave it the bigger the fallout will be!
So in this case, I'm actually alright with them leaving it a bit. As long as it's out before the end of October I'll be alright.

I cheered too when he punched Jai and what a punch it was. hope he does the same to Raskesh when he finds out he switched DNA results and Priya knew all along.
Watch Rakesh get out of that one.
Also feel sorry for Moira as her hopes as a granny will be dashed and her face when they decided to call the baby Johnny. I presume after Adams late dad.
