It will be interesting to see if the Paradigm Daleks feature this series.

We could have had a war-style siege story involving the Drone, we could have had a complex thriller involving the Strategist, we could have had a complex and thought-provoking mad-scientist style story with the Scientist, timey-wimey something or other with the Eternal and so on. It's less repetitive, and makes use of those Daleks strengths as superiors, whilst the typical Bronze Daleks do all the work.

I think I'd have preferred this to what we actually got - Into the Dalek felt both by-the-numbers, overly familiar and ultimately like it toyed with an idea that was best left to the imagination (like with Journey to the Centre of the Tardis).”

On doctor who confidential Moffat said oh eternal. What csn that be about. In other words he doesn't know yet.

So that basically means that it renders my 5 inch figures of the Paradigm Daleks a waste of time, then? A waste of time Character Options even producing them, I mean.

Perfect. The new-New daleks presumably, and by mere coincidence, looking like the bronze daleks, 1960s daleks, Special Weapons and a Dalek Sec tribute act.

(reposting this because I forgot smilies first time)

Spoiler
....The Mirror's story said Davros holds The Doctor on Skaro so that he can save the Dalek Race. Though I would predict that Davros may force The Doctor to save him from being crippled in the past, and therefore save his life in the future, which causes all kinds of issues - but I don't know how he could control him that way without some kind of insurance...

Though that also doesn't tie up with The Doctor saving Davros by mistake, as has been widely speculated, so I don't know.... and there's still so much we don't know, which is great. Well done, team and screening attendees.
”

...and now I know how Davros would be able to convince The Doctor to go in to the past and change things. Though we still don't know if that's the intention.
