I posted regarding this before but got no response. That was unusual!

I want to transfer digital photos from Canon Digital Camera to Panasonic E85 DVDR for storage and easy play.

Can I do this direct or do I need to create DVD on PC first?

Any advise would be appreciated.

You would need to create them on your PC, as the DVD recorder doesn't appear to have a USB connection or multimedia card reading capabilities. It is possible you could connect your camera to the AV input sockets so that you could record it as video, if your camera has AV output. But then you'd only be able to play them back as a video, in the same way that you displayed them from your camera. So basically check what file formats the dvd recorder supports and burn them to a DVD disc from your PC. Another option would be to send them off to one of those film processing centres and get them to do it for you, but it'd be cheaper to do it yourself.
