For me the Americans are far and away more entertaining than the Brits.

I don't think it's a case of "all the Americans" are entertaining and "all the British" are not. But percentage-wise, sure. I think that has to do with the fact that they're not going to bring over boring American "celebrities." They're going to go for the biggest bang for their buck.

In terms of entertainment, I think positives trump negatives every time, that's why it's interesting seeing the conversations with people like James and Austin or Janice and some of the Brits. It's not just one dimensional bitching, it's sometimes quite interesting.

I like the psychology of the show. I like seeing how different people view things, and when we have US housemates on the show, that can be particularly interesting. That's why I like James as a housemate. I've seen him be inquisitive that way with people, it's the kind of thing I'd do if I were in there.

Not always true, neither of the Jacksons were very antertaining, and Dirk Benedict and Stephanie Pratt were very quiet. Jenna and Farrah are the best bookings since Frenchie and Leslie.

Well, I think that Stephanie Pratt (like Austin and quite a few in the past) were booked simply because they were living in the UK. The Jacksons, they invited just for their name.

But because half the housemates were American this year, I think it changes who and why they picked who they did.
