So who do you prefer Grace or Claudette?

Personally I prefer Claudette, she's a much more mysterious character and is linked to a lot more people so more storyline potential.

When Ellen was cast in the role of Claudette a lot of people on here were annoyed as they liked Grace and couldn't accept Ellen in a different role. I was just wondering if people's opinion had changed.

Claudette though I feel she needs more development, she and Carmel have been in the show for roughly the same amount of time yet Carmel feels automatically part of the show now which I am so far not feeling with Claudette, her scene with Ronnie the other day though was very good and the best she has been so far.

I don't remember Grace. I just think the actress is a bit weak as Claudette.

Grace barely appeared but Claudette needs to move onto the Square now especially as she seems to have history with the Mitchells.

Really, I'm surprised I didn't think she was that much of a memorable character, I know she was Mercy grandmother and did she clash with Dot at one point? that is all I remember about her tbh

Grace was only in about 20 or so episodes and she unfortunately I was only watching EE more sporadically at the time (thanks Kirkwood). Can't really remember the character too well.

Claudette herself is someone who has grown on me a lot in the last few weeks. She was boring around Les, but I enjoy her scenes with Vincent and Kim. LOVED how she said Phil would get what's coming to him. Hope she means it. Great scene with Ronnie this week too.

I don't like her in either role. She's a poor actress. I can't understand how she's onto her fourth role in EastEnders.

Claudette by far. she could be a gem of a character. Knowing my luck that probably mean she'll be written out within months.

I don't think Claudette is going anywhere.

Don't remember Grace, wasn't really watching then. Claudette just seems like Peggy to me.

As a character I prefer Grace but once Mercy left, and they had decided not to make Faith a regular, there was little they could do I suppose. She rarely appeared anyway, but I liked her relationship with Dot.

I don't feel we know enough about Claudette to see what kind of character she is.

Most of her scenes are about Vincent, or the Les secret, and we don't really know much about her herself. We rarely see her with Donna for example, who is supposed to be her adoptive Mum. I think more development is needed before I can form a rounded opinion.

I do remember Grace but don't particularly have an opinion on her, she was just there really... I like Claudette, I think she needs a bit of development but I think she could turn out to be a very interesting character.

I loved Grace but it was a shame she only ever was recurring and Mercy getting axed.

I like Claudette. She will be a great love-to-hate role but I prefered Grace.

Would Peg allow one of her mates husbands to pop round once a week so he can put a frock on?

I've not completely made my mind up on Claudette as yet but the other three characters she played were glorified extras really. I think Claudette will be a huge character over the next year so we will find out how they progress the character. I voted Claudette. Thanks

She wasn't much of a character at all.

I bet most viewers don't even realise the actress has been in it before.

Of course, then her bra would ping off for the bloke to pick it up while she did her Peggy cackle..
