I didn't like Fleur last year, just because she and Kiera have a similar look doesn't mean they're the same person, or sound the same. Give the woman a chance.

The only similarity is that they are both very god artists.

And Tamera the year before?

Every year, without fail, Jeref obsesses over a pretty but vocally so-so mixed-race girl and tries to hype them on these forums with a zealotry that would make jihadists and 1D fans cringe alike.

But your point about giving her a chance is fair enough. I usually take until we're into the live shows before evaluating contestants properly. Which is also why it's funny how you can spot a Jeref obsession before they've even sung a note.

Could be the shock faller at judges houses as singing bland stuff like i will always Iove you is not going to give them the type of winner they want

Nice to know you are keeping a reord of the excellent acts that i enjoy watching, and its all down to the type of music that they sing, not what they look like.

It's going to be emotional if she dedicated it to her mother :'( http://www.twitcelebgossip.com/17184...ways-love-you/

True story. Even when I like some of the same acts, the relentless OTT hyping and completely baseless battering of everyone who may dare to challenge whichever she of the chosen hype starts to make me turn against a perfectly decent act.

I liked Kiera in the audition but not been a fan of her song choices since. |If its true she's doing Whitney tonight, I think she's going down the wrong path personally.
She's young and fresh so why not use that to her advantage rather than turn herself into another dated, cruise ship power ballad crooner?

and what do you like exactly about someone singing slowed down power ballads ?

she is basically doing MoR pop which is the type of music you say you despise so you are not really being consistent here

I hope not

Not sure there are enough sour grapes left on the planet for the fallout on here of that decision

Sounds wrong but I am pretty sure cowell wants a white female winning.

Louisa or maybe even Chloe

cowell is usually about gaps in the market and image over talent so might be strange to see him being too supportive of this girl when he has tamera and fleur on the books already

i know fleur is probably aimed at a different genre but with syco i'm not sure she will get too far from mainstream pop anyway

I imagine you're probably right. Male winner last year plus a white girl has never actually won before. Or am I completely forgetting someone?

No act in this show, or any other show should be judged on the colour of their skin. It's whether they are a good singer or not is the only thing that they should be judged on.

This is true however I don't think cowell is looking for some kind or urban r n b type balladeer as the winner

This market is also overcrowded at the moment

I think that one of the females from the overs might win, of which SYCO is mentor.

I agree, he wouldn't know what to do with an urban act - he's pop all the way.
