I'm so happy that Jason finally has his own storyline. Does anyone else feel it's extremely overdue?

Jason has always been part of joint storylines (usually him getting dumped at the end!) or had parts in other people's, so it's great that the focus is finally solely on him.

I think Ryan is finally being able to show his acting talent too, which is great.

I wouldn't say he was shining

He's not a good actor unfortunately but he deserved a storyline.

He Plays himself in my opinion but he is tolerable unlike Cotton.

He is doing ok

I am pleased that Jason has been given his own storyline at last; but I wish it didn't have to be with Callum. The sight of the pantomime hoodlum, standing with his big, fleshy mouth open, is horrible. I wasn't sure of Tony (Jason's screen dad) when he first came in to the show, but I enjoy his performance now.

I think that both Jason and Ryan Thomas are fantastic. I've said so in many other threads but I'm always glad for the chance to sing his praises so thanks for this thread Sez_babe.

Dunno about Ryan playing himself but Antony "Rotten" Cotton definitely plays himself. Having seen him on other things ie the jungle thing, award ceremonies, other TV shows and in interviews I can say that Antony Cotton plays himself
As for Jason I do like him, he's not played by the strongest actor but he's likeable enough.

I'm loving his new-found curly mop on top of his head....gives him a bit more edge.

I like it too - it's amazing what just one small thing like that can do to a character - it's showing how Jason is not back to normal yet.

I would actually like to see a Sarah and Jason reunion cos they have chemistry on screen and he also works well with bethany and the platts. Plus we would get more Rileen v Gail argy bargy

Poor Jason. I loved those scenes with Eva tonight but it was so sad too.

Well it's not exactly his "own story" because it's part of the Platt/Callum storyline really!

"Shines" in his "own story"? I like Jason, but right now all he's doing is skulking around on the back of Kylie and David's storyline! LOVE Tony, though. Great character and actor. Not a baddie but has a dark edge.
