If you want to keep all of your hair growth you're going to have to give up straightening every day or accept the length you've got now. It doesn't matter how much heat protectant you use, for most people, it is incredibly difficult to retain any hair growth if you're applying that much heat everyday, your ends can only take so much damage.
I understand it, I love to straighten my hair too but having healthy hair is more important to me. I only straighten once every 3/4 weeks now.
You'll probably need to have a good cut to get rid of the damage.”
Oh Lushness, you've broken my heart re the straighteners! I love my straighteners!
My hair has grown some, it used to be an above the shoulders bob and now it's between my shoulders and my boobs, but that has taken a few years... But it's been like that length for ages now.. I was thinking it must be breaking, as the regrowth doesn't seem to match what is happening at the length.... So annoying!!!!
I do get it trimmed, so split ends etc get taken care of.
I've never really bothered with hair treatments etc, always concentrated more on my skin, but I'm making a real effort now and the elasticizer seems to make my hair much nicer, so hopefully, lay off the straighteners a bit and carry on with my treatments and see what happens. Thanks for the advice.
