I don't understand how this works but I have been searching for a solution for my stuttery picture of now TV sports. My nexus tablet was slightly less noticeable when watching sky sports through the chromecast but it is still there. I thought I would try my wife's ipad mini and chromecast and although the stutter is still slightly there it is very much more acceptable. The chromecast outputs at 60hz but why is the ipad picture better than the nexus 7

I get suttering via chromecast too, i'm not 100% certain but i think it is to due with chromecast refreshing at 60mhz most uk tvs are currently only 50mhz, this is just information i've picked up looking around and apparantly it has been going on for awhile and Google are not planning to fix it.
