Dirty Debbie Emmerdale

Why is nobody holding Debbie responsible for her deceitful lying actions....

She's breezing around playing the victim.. whilst Pete's being ostracized for lashing out... he took it too far... but it was his wedding day ... emotions running high ...

however... Debbie would happily have someone inconvenient murdered.... so why is it different when anyone else behaves in the same manner...

I'm utterly confused as to why the writers allow the character away with such awful behaviour...... is she leaving with Ross ?

Attempted murder is worse than adultery.

I'm surprised any of the Bartons are talking to Pete after what he did to Ross.

The deeply unpleasant, unlikeable and totally unsympathetic cow, Debbie, always gets away with her lousy actions.

Such a pity that her upcoming departure is only temporary.

Horrid unlikeable bat.
just like her awful old bag of a mother.

She's off lemon-sucking soon.

I agree with the OP, I was hoping there would be a scene where Andy got on her for causing the same drama that Katie once did between him and Robert. But instead everyone seems to be mad at Pete. It will be interesting to see if Ross becomes an outcast after
Spoiler
he tries to kill Pete
or will Debbie and the Bartons forgive him for that?

LOL how about she leaves Pete and Ross alone and just takes the rock to Debbie's head. I like them both and think once Debbie is gone everything will be fine

I haven't a clue why Debbie never gets called out on her almighty selfish shoite.

When Emma called her "entitled" tonight, I was cheering - that's exactly what she is. "Oh, it was fine for me to cheat on Pete with his bro on a regular basis, because Pete's turned out not to be perfect! Poor ickle me!" Yet I think I'm supposed to feel something for her (I don't), and dislike Emma (I don't).

I don't know if she's leaving with Ross, but I sort of hope so, even though I loathe them together. I'm sick of the sight of both of them. If they could take Moses with them, we can forget this whole craparsed summer of Barton/Dingle borefestdom ever happened.

Now where's Cain ...?

Debbie? No one's bothered calling out Ross for sleeping with his brother's fiance (at the time.) Yes, Pete almost killed him and tried to dump him in some woods, but he seems to have forgotten that the only reason that they were fighting was because he went after his brother's fiance without a care about what it would do to him. At least Debbie has shown guilt and remorse for having the affair with Ross and blamed herself for Pete almost killing him. She's trying to do the right thing right now and staying away from both of them apart from when it involves the kids, what more can she do? She's said sorry to Pete and tried to make it work between them again but she's right, ultimately he wouldn't be able to properly forgive her any time soon. What has Ross done? Played on his injuries for sympathy, used his son to see Debbie and secretly plotting to kick his brother while he's down even more. Emma's so blind when it comes to Ross' faults and she only blames Debbie when it takes two to have an affair. There's no need to involve Debbie's kids either when they didn't do anything to deserve it.

Considering Andy cheated on Katie with Jo and went on to beat Jo on a regular basis, he has no right to get on at anyone for their domestic problems.

Although I've noticed that ED women seem to get more crap when it comes to cheating, so it wouldn't surprise me if they dared to have Andy do that. It's a bit like how Emma has been coming out with the "slapper" remarks in between desperately clinging to her cheating ex. Got to love hypocrisy.

Trying to paint one character or another as "worse than..." or "not as bad as..." is an exercise in futility.

They are all horrible people.

I agree. Ross has no concept of the fact that he pushed Pete until he snapped. The way he's manipulating his parents us awful as well. I thought he at least cared for Finn, but he can't do really or he wouldn't,t be trying to destroy his whole family. Debbie at her worst can be as bad but in between times she does show that there's more to her. She was becoming likeable before she got involved with Ross.

Ross has destroyed a lot of lives. Infact didn't he destroy her mothers business? Yet Debbie thinks she can love a man like that. How can Debbie even sleep with someone who is the father of her half brother. A bit yuk really.

So far Debbie's shared blokes with her mum and her aunt. The mind boggles as to what will happen when Sarah starts dating.... High time that girl tried match.com instead.
