Ha ha, what are we going to do if it turns out to be a Hallowe'en 'gag' by the impish DTC and Kaf was dead all along?
I'd forgive him if Den n Angie popped up in the next one!

Anita Dobson would be so good back on the square, although why am I picturing a lurid Tennessee Williams-esque affair between Ainge and Mick?

I do like Gillian Taylforth who looks fantastic for someone her age, well she looks great full stop. I agree with you though that some of the lines were corny especially Sharon criticising Kathy's nice clothes while wearing something that resembles a sack herself. I agree that some of the acting was hammy, especially from Letitia Dean who was awful. However Gillian Taylforth as Kathy was fantastic. Kathy won't be gone for long and I can't wait for her to return. I'm so looking forward to Kathy meeting Ian and Ben after all this time!
Shabnam's still birth was incredibly well acted I agree. It was flawless. I do like the Masoods more and more these days.
Gillian Taylforth is definately the better of the two. I can't wait to see Ian's face when he sees her!

But classic acting it was not!

Why not! Sharon has shades of Blanche DuBois about her.

I've gotta say I was expecting better. All seemed a bit Am-Dram. The violence was really fake.

I watched EE during the Kathy years and she was always a much loved and sympathetic character. I think they were forcing the drama tonight, it didn't ring true.

Okay, so Sharon's protecting her marriage. But fighting a supposed dead woman, I don't think you'd be so dismissive of their story so quickly.
