THAT was outstanding

That is why EastEnders will always be the best.

An amazing episode, dripping in history.

I can't place that higher.

Leititia and Gillian were so so good.

I knew it'd be good but it surpassed all expectations in our house. It was fantastic. Both actresses get some stick on here but I though they were outstanding tonight

Gillian and Letitia stole the show. Excellent stand off.

The only bad part of the episode involved Ronnie and Charlie. A year ago they were such a good couple. Even before that, Ronnie was one of the bigger hitters on the show. They really are making her character as unlikeable as possible.

I really don't understand why they have turned a great set up for Ron and Rox into such a mess.

Oh I dunno about Ronnie. I'm glad the merry-go-round they call a relationship is finally over. His fate was set when he hooked up with Roxy. Ronnie should have got rid as soon as she found out.

Sharon made me laugh "Blah...blah...blah....blah" I thought she'd gone crazy.

Must admit the Sharon/Kathy scene was very good, its just a pity it had to include the huffing, puffing, cliché ridden oaf, Phil.

It was phenomenal. The acting was spot on and loved Sharon'a campness.

Cheese and Pickle ... Basic!

Also I think thats what DTC meant when he said Ronnie would no longer be a heroine but nearing a villain.

EastEnders has such a gift for bringing out the ultra-campness in the most ordinary of things.

I was really excited for last night's ep and I wasn't disappointed! The Ronnie/Charlie stuff is getting a little eh now. And seriously the way she told him last night that it was over... talk about out of the blue (for him anyway) and sudden!

But Sharon vs Kathy was perfect, both Letitia Dean and Gillian Taylforth were on form and delivered some seriously class performances!

It was such a fab episode. I was totally in my element watching Kath and Shazza share those scenes. It felt amazing to be a fan last night. It was also a really well written episode. Bravo EE. Another reminder why it's always been my fav soap.

It was thrilling to watch. This is what EastEnders used to be like most of the time back in it's hey day. I honestly think Sharon is and always will be the best thing about EastEnders but it's a joy to have Kathy Beale finally back on the show. A pair of absolute soap legends. Whenever the show focuses on the classic 80's and 90's characters it always soars.

Outstanding? I'm not sure but the Kathy and Sharon scenes were good

I must have missed something, as it was OK but I would hardly call it outstanding or phenomenonal, I could say that I am not an EastEnders fan, but my wife is and even she did not think it was anything special.

You should post more often.

It was an excellent episode but Ronnie really has become such an unlikable bitch - she is almost beyond redemption now.

I am usually a fan of Ron as well.

No doubt once she tires of Vincent we will see yet another utterly ludicrous Philth 'owning' scene and that will be the end of the Hubbards.

I really hope not though - I want Claudette to beat them both to death with her spectacular rack!
