As we know Gavin's mysterious sister identified the bodies of Gavin and Kathy back in NZ so would anyone like to entertain the idea of her making an appearance in the future. If the law is going to indeed catch up with them, surely she'll have to be brought to justice also?

They cast divorced couple Una Stubbs and Nicky Henson as the aunt and father of Honey Mitchell. Plus the Carter clan is made up of Bad Girls cast members so I don't think casting Jan as Gavin's sister would be a problem.

Alison Steadman would be good

Alison Steadman is a fabulous Actress but I cannot see her committing to a Soap at least not yet.

If Margaret turns out to be Gavin's Sister it would be a great twist, she would also be Sharon's Aunt.

We know she was around Walford at the time of Sharon's conception. When Gavin got Carol pregnant, maybe his parents convinced him to leave Walford so he never knew what happened to Sharon. But his older sister Margaret, a young solicitor was friends with Den and knew he couldn't have kids.

When Gavin "died", Margaret being a solicitor would have come in handy. She identified the body and sorted out the insurance.

She didn't tell Sharon about Gavin purely because he was supposed to be dead.

She's the right age and could easily pass as the sister of Paul Nicholas.

Sharon and Phil divorce, Margaret and Richie do battle. Fantastic!
