He's mentioned Jim Davidson a few times, and Jim Davidson is very supportive of him on his Twitter. I reckon there's been a bit of coaching going on, but Bobby Davro isn't able to hold his temper as well as Jim D.

I like him. Mature bloke who doesn't get upset by what kids say or do.

Yes, that last one in particular put me off him a bit, I was like wtf are you doing?

There was a little blink and you'd miss it bit when Jenna and Farrah came back into the house and Jenna appeared to almost let it get to her, to which Bobby seemed to be really gleeful at the prospect of making them cry.
That came across to me as being especially nasty and truly unpleasant.

I think he's a horrible little toad of a man who comes across as a narcissist with perhaps a bit of psychopath chucked in for good measure.

Seems plenty of you are either too young or just too ignorant to understand where Bobby's coming from

You can't apply modern fascile disposable traits to him, he's old school, he's before ditsy airhead wannabe culture

The bloke's from genuine good honest grafting times thrown in trying to negotiate through a sea of self-serving/important empty celebs, when the parents of these reality stars were in short trousers he was busting his arse in working mens clubs forging his metal

So yes he is like Jim Davidson in many ways, risen through to stardom, fallen victim to out-datedness, unfashionable times, domestic tribulation, trying to make a good impression in a very different showbiz world, trying to find his place in all of it, trying to keep down the 'cruel to be kind' 'tell it like it is/truth hurts' world that he grew up in to keep afloat in this time of such delicate ears and egos, trying to be honest in a world that shouts down common sense in favour of terms like 'hater'

In a parallel world he would be applauded but in a world that fears age and only rewards abs and straight teeth (regardless of how dispicable the person they're attached to) I think he's doing well

I've seen people get angry on Big Brother, and have arguments.

Even make threats.

Spitting, aggressive behaviour, injudicious language.

Even passing notes with names written on!!!

But I have never seen a grown man delight in people's embarrassment, humiliation, or upset and laugh and point saying, "Oh look we've made them cry now."

Well... I have now.

I may have missed the bit where he pretends it was "only joking"

That surprises me because from watching the show, both the live feed and the HL show, he comes to me across as incredibly arrogant with an unpleasant undercurrent to him.

Even something I saw the other night which might seem innocuous to some, to me came across as arrogant, when Scoop was talking to Davro he seemed to have an arrogant 'F you I'm not listening to you' attitude. He wasn't looking at him in the eye and was licking his fingers in a strange cocky way. I know full well that sounds ridiculous when typed out on a forum, but actually watching it you'd know what I mean.

I know that people on here don't like certain words used on here but I genuinely believe that he's a narcissist. He wants so desperately to be liked, is highly manipulative, and doesn't genuinely care about other people's feelings or opinions, and will never ever consider that he's wrong about something.

I can't express how much I dislike him (not his fault but even his face annoys me).

His aim, imo, was to be the all round nice guy when the truth is, he's the polar opposite, he's sly, manipulative & about as funny as toothache, unfortunately the twit has failed to realise this.
As for his fake laugh, I could cheerfully put my foot through my TV when I see/hear it.

Yep, I totally agree.
He wasn't remotely funny in his "heyday" so the chances of him resurrecting his career now must be zilch.

Agree. I've seen plenty of unpleasant individuals on BB before, but really can't remember seeing someone take delight in someone else crying. He really is one bitter, nasty individual.

I'm seeing the really nasty man your mum apparently saw at her work.

I find him boring, funnily enough. He is truly a British peculiarity, people like him and Davidson and Chubby Brown and Bruce Forsyth; I think it's fair to say most people outside of the UK are baffled by their popularity - in this time or any other.

The first time I raised my eyebrows re Bobby in this show was when he was the King and he called Farrah (the maid) over and did the whole lecherous, giggling, ogling thing. It went fairly unremarked upon on here, but I found it nauseating.

He's upped a gear recently; recycling decades old jokes for maximum effect. The fake laughing and the way he saves his loudest insults for the biggest audience sum him up, really.

I haven't had much of an opinion about Bobby, but found him, at the very least, irritating last night. The laughing throughout Farrah and Jenna's return, his revelling in the thought that they may have made Jenna may cry, I found it all really annoying and somewhat sinister.

Late reply I know but I cannot get past the OP post.

He is immature, acting up with the clowns in there (Jenna and Farrah)

Trying to be funny, well he is a comedian.

And what shit advice.
Basically Telling Stevi to dump Chloe to give himself an easier life. I think the actual metaphor he used was to let her 'drown'.
Some bloody father.

It's interesting because it felt like he genuinely appeared to be believe that what he was saying was right, and this is probably how his mind actually works.
What a psycho. He appears to have the bit of his brain missing which deals with empathy and compassion. He'd probably have a good career on Wall Street if he wasn't such a plank.

IMO Bobby is like Natasha they went in the House thinking they would be the big stars only to find out they are the supporting acts to Farrah and Jenna it must be really annoying for them.
