Oh dear, today's episode compared to yesterday, really rather shoddy.

Claire Higgins aka Julia Cotton from Hellraiser and Hellraiser II leading the prosecution against Maxwell Branning.

I loath all these liars. I'm not keen on Max but he doesn't deserve being put through this...and now poor lee is accused. They don't care who gets hurt as long as their dirty secret doesn't get out.

I didn't realise the trial started tonight or I'd have given it a miss..too frustrating.

Wonder if she will drink Max's blood if he is found guilty

Will Lauren be leaving EE when Max is out of prison and leaves the square? I can't see as to why Lauren would stay now when she has a new life with Peter in NZ.

No she leaves them come back permanently in the new year.

I assume she returns alone or maybe a new headed Peter

Another good episode very informative, last night's was great drama but I felt I learned more tonight, good story progression.

Babe V's Cora

Lauren being back is a good thing, didn't realise I missed her as much as I have

Poor Lee As a fellow sufferer of depression I well understand what that breaking point is like

Kathy/Sharon is going to rumble on, that old rivalry isn't going anywhere. Sharongate still reverberating to this day, history not easily forgotten. 8.5/10 for me. Thanks

Ronnie getting some just desserts this episode - rejected by Vincent, then Charlie telling her that she is an unfit mum and that he'll be going for custody of Matthew!

Sharon moves from one House of Lies to another.

You know something's gone wrong with your life when your choices are Denny sharing a bedroom with Ben or Bobby!

Ok episode. Not as good as last night but good enough.

Loved that subtle line about Denny going for a haircut and Sharon finally leaving Phil. (I know she probably goes back on Thursday but oh well!)

That's a convenient onset of childbirth. Why didn't they just have her being crushed by a giant piano just as she reaches the police station?

I'm not a Max fan but I do think he's a good character to have in the show but this ordeal of his is just so cruel and cynical. It reminds me of when Arthur Fowler got stitched up but at least in that case, it was just one man behind it.

I'm just at a loss over what the writers have done to Ronnie. I hope she is redeemed down the line (maybe killing Dean though it's not guaranteed) because now she is downright horrible. Are they trying to make us feel sorry for her like we have in the past? This is the first time I don't feel bad for her at all.

Sharon isn't that likeable at the moment either. Covering up for the Beales and while she has a right to be upset with Kathy she has no business stopping her from seeing her sons. They should be the ones to decide if they can forgive her.

Sharon and Phil will get back together soon. It's so obvious and there was a BBC script snippet and they are still together in end of November.

It's a shame about Ronnie. She's really unlikeable at the moment and I really hope Ronnie doesn't kill Charlie in the future. She's a terrible mother and I hope Charlie gets custody of Matthew.

I have to admit unlike many on here, I quite like heartless, scheming Darth Ronnie

I actually liked this episode a lot

I was hoping that Charlie would bring up Carl White to Ronnie which he did

Loved the Denny haircut line especially since the new actor is coming later this week

Finally Sharon realises that she and Phil have lied way too many times - hopefully she doesn't forgive him

Lauren also seemed to make the episode seem a bit lighter than usually

I thought it was cunning how Marcus twisted Lee's words and how Lee's storyline is linking into this

But this leaves the question...
Spoiler

I've never been more happier to see Lauren, so good to finally have someone who knows Max is innocent and doesn't want to keep it a secret.

I think there is a longer story at play between Vincent and Ronnie. He is planning something against her and Phil. Also, it seems Vincent might get rid of Charlie next week but I don't think he does and Charlie will be part of the plan. I don't think its as clear cut as it seems. I don't think DTC would do that with Ronnie he likes the character too much to ruin.

Same, I'm so tired of Jane trying to 'fix' things, if she truly wanted to fix things she would tell the truth

It's like DS has just stretched!

EDIT: It's back to normal now!

I thought this was a good episode. I haven't always been the biggest fan of Lauren but it was nice having her back. Her presence was somewhat lovely. (Still hot too).

Like others have said, Denny getting a haircut = regeneration

I would have praise Sharon leaving Phil but I'm not going to because we've see this all before countless times. It's just another one of those temporary splits where they'll likely end up reuniting within a month or even a fortnight.

Poor Lee. I felt very bad for the guy. He's starting to crack now. Nice to see Mick comforting him though. Those scenes were good with Marcus attempting to twist his words and versions of events.

Someone needs to go to the chippy shop, get a load of vinegar and pour it on Babe!

7/10

Well said Lauren.
Well said my arris. She should have gone to the Police months ago. I cannot vote in the poll. Too little too late.

Denny's getting a haircut?

(And a new head......)
a boys head this time.

I always hoped that his name was Maximillian

Why doesn't Lauren tell Abi, the truth?
She isn't allowed to

Of course Kathy is about to become a great granny
She needs to be a great mother first

Cora and Babe are so funny together.
The vile Cora is never funny

They won't let Cora testify in court whilst drunk
She would be really impressive
Lee really is woeful. He needs writing off but he a Carter so is untouchable
The Army would disagree

Wait, wtf has Lee being discharged from the army got to do with Lucy's murder?
Shown to be a liar and a possible killer

Awww, poor Lee. He's broken.
What a wuss.
