Yeah. A real over the-top fire and brimstone kind of belief in religion. Kind of like the Westboro Baptist Church people.

When the baby was 3 days old Farrah was exhausted after having zero sleep and she said to her mum

"Is there any way you could help me a little in the night?" She said it really politely and nicely - although I could hear the apprehension in her voice and almost fear on her face for asking.

Her mum responded "not really, you know, I need my sleep"

Farrah didn't say anything but tears were running down her face and her mum just shrugged

It was heartbreaking to watch.

This was a 16 year old girl who had just given birth. Ok you could say she made her bed and should lie in it but come on. She wasn't asking to go out partying she was asking to be allowed a little bit of sleep.

Her mum didn't even comfort her or say "I know it's hard but you are doing a great job and it will get easier"

I've since found out the baby's father was killed a month before Farrah gave birth so she literally was totally alone.

On that show she came across as very loving and caring towards her baby and like she was a good buy young mum.

Her own mum was awful - really awful,

I remember when I had my first baby at 25 and it was a culture shock and I was knackered all the time - and I had a husband to help me. My heart went out to her watching that. Poor girl.

She needs to learn that not everyone is out to be horrible to her. Trouble is - because she is so abrasive and defensive and quick to presume everyone is going to be nasty - it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy,

It's very sad because I think she could be a really nice person but her mum has shaped her to expect negativity from everyone.

How we react to bad behaviour is another issue.

The point I'm trying to make is that some people are claiming, quite legitimately, that Farrah is the way she is for a reason...but then seem to fail to grasp that the same logic can be applied to everybody in the house (or everybody in general).

Very true

It makes you realise how much parents impact on their kids and how much of a responsibility raising your kids to be well adjusted and decent is - else they can end u totally effed up like Farrah.

Scary.

Exactly this, people have to take responsibility for their own behaviour! Yes, Farrah has had some problems and hard times and it seems her mother hasn't been a great role model as her other daughter h as also said that their mother ruined her life too!

But Farrah is a mother herself and needs to set an example to her own daughter so she needs to grow up fast!

it's been a combination of things for farrah. at the root is her mother, and then being a teen mom and the baby's daddy dying.

that's all bad enough, but then you push a 16 year old with a volatile family into the national spotlight? 16 and Pregnant made celebrities out of those girls when they weren't prepared for the tabloid scrutiny and online hate that comes along with it.

she always seemed driven to make an independent life for herself and her daughter. she made a lot of money off that porn, but i have no idea why she thought she needed a lot of money. she could've just gotten a normal job -- i guess she was too damaged by then.

There's plenty of people gone through trauma and had rubbish lives. That is no excuse for her disgusting attitude towards others and complete lack of self awareness.

To anyone exuding empathy or sympathy which I applaud, you may as well face it. She is a nasty piece of work with not much grey matter, hence her limited dialogue and vacant stare into the middle distance.

At least Bobby has an excuse when he is sleepwalking!

Bla bla bla... Farrah is a horrible woman because she chooses to be horrible. She could choose not to be but she doesn't.

Why? Bobby hasn't and he's been a father for decades.

Most people don't seem to think any of the others exhibit bad behavior.

Agree with you, also being on BB isn't going to help either of them, and hasn't helped them so far.

I don't think they would see anything wrong with their behaviour even if you showed them footage of them at their worst. They appear to think they are in the right in every instance and everyone else is wrong.

Does it really seem that way to you? Just for starters I'd say the idea that Jenna is actually a 'bad influence' on Farrah is quite widespread.

This is the trauma that transformed her from a normal teenager to a raging narcisist?

And, did you all know that the baby's father never ever knew that he was going to be a father? Did you all know that Farrah broke up with the baby's father in the early stages of her pregnancy, and never told him that he was going to be a father?

I don't think she was ever a normal teenager - this was just one thing that can shed some light on why

I can understand why she's so messed up but then if you start excusing people for their terrible behaviour based on their past, we go down a slippery slope.

he did no he was going to be a father if you watched the show you would see. His mother said that her son denied it was his baby.
his mother would not agree to dna testing . His sister did the dna in the end.

His father told a different story said his son Derrick had told him he was going to be a dad.

It has certainly made me more sympathetic towards her - wow

She came across actually quite nice and level headed. While giving birth she was apologising to her midwife and doctor that they had to look at her crotch lol.

Her mum seemed really horrible and nasty - not motherly or supportive at all. She even compared Farrah to the Antichrist at one point with nearly no provocation - hmm might explain where Farrah got that from.

I felt sorry for Farrah in that show - and I can understand why she is so defensive and quick to snap now.

A bit of an eye opener”

Really? Okay, I see. I haven't seen it myself but from the way people are talking about it in the house they make it appear as if it makes her out to be horrible for some reason.

I agree with you. This is one of the most one-sided series I've seen. I'm a bit disappointed in seeing how many appear to be gobbling up BB's party line like Pauline's hot dinners.
