Despite his utterly awful deeds Cameron had charisma as a character and you saw different sides to him. Pete only ever seems to be aggressive, even when being "nice," because Anthony is such a poor actor and just shouts at everyone all the time. He could be reciting a Shakespearean sonnet to someone post-coitally and still sound like he was having a go at them. It's annoying and Pete's just a tedious, miserable, aggressive whingebag as a result. I think he'd probably be a very different character in the hands of a more capable actor.”
I agree! Cameron was brilliantly unhinged towards the end. Some of his performances were even chilling, like when he killed Gennie, the look he gave when he was arrested after holding Debbie hostage, appearing behind Debbie when the flickered back on in the cellar.

Even showing his dark side, there were different sides - the desperate 'what have I got left?' side that made him not care anymore in the end, may as well go out and take everyone down with him. The danger vibe that came off him, like when everyone froze when he came out from the behind the bar on the pub siege episode. He was a character that had gone irredeemably dark and kept the viewers gripped. You're right about Pete/Anthony. Last nights drunk acting was just awful, his wide eyes, looking like he was on a drug trip rather than drunk. I'm assuming we as viewers should be either taking Ross or Petes side in general and for who Debbie should be with, I don't like either of them very much as characters and I don't want to see either of them with Debbie. Annoying storyline.
