rylan cant interview - but i doubt his fans can follow what is being said anyway. so his use of "turn to crowd for a whooop" (which is a "gimmick" meant to be used if an interview is flat or lost) appeals to people who just like big smiles and airhead comments and not actually listen to what is being said...

He does his job but I personally find him annoying and the show boring.

it isnt about being lovely, it is about being honest and not just lapping up any old mush.
it is idiot tv, with a bunch of people act like an idiot audience who cheer and clap... its the sort of brain dead pap that tv people do to entertain the dribblers... eg saturday evening family tv must have the audience clap along to any "band performing" because the watchers need to see an audience clapping along... its idiotic dribble tv

Personally, I rarely watched it because I couldn't stand Brand.

Not really, Big Mouth had its fair share of puerile and trashy nonsense, what separates it from BOTS is the BB era that it was in. If Brand was doing BOTS today he would be slagged as much as Rylan

I was actually just thinking this to myself the other night. Rylan is doing a great job on BBBOTS. I am not a fan of his but you can see he loves BB and knows plenty about it and seems to be just loving hosting the show.

Now if we could stop him doing the fawning over "Queen Emma" on eviction nights.

I think Rylan is good for the demographic that the producers aim at these days.

Russell Brand was suitable for a more mature audience that was less polarised than today's. Obviously I know there are those who will think RB's humour was rather juvenile at times, but that's not really the point.

BOTS today is a vehicle to lead the train of thought for those who like to know who are the goodies and who are the baddies. Rylan is excellent at that.

Rylan is the best thing to happen to bots,he is so funny and very quick with a come back,bots is much better since he has been hoisting .
