Opinions on Strictly 2010?
Daily Dreams

Just started re watching series eight on Daily Motion in the build up to the new series and was wondering what people thought of this series?

I remember it being seen as the 'revamp'; new set, new pros, 'bigger' celebrities.

I for one loved it! I remember thinking Michelle Williams would be the best thing since Alesha Dixon but then we know what happened there..

Its the series I enjoyed the most.

Lilia, Matthew were no longer on the show.
A lot of new things were introduced and most of them made the show better - and most of them had been suggested on this forum beforehand. And NO dance-off!

Despite removing a couple of my favourite pros, I rate Moira Ross as the best and most progressive Producer the show has had.

Celebrity performers were:-
Robbie Williams & Gary Barlow – "Shame"
Week 2: Robbie Williams – "Rock DJ"
Week 3: Peter Andre – "Defender"
Week 4: Neil Diamond – "Midnight Train to Georgia"
Week 5: Alice Cooper – "Poison" (Halloween special)
Week 6: Bryan Ferry – "You Can Dance"
Week 7: Annie Lennox – "Universal Child" & Alesha Dixon – "Radio"
Week 8: Duffy – "Well, Well, Well"
Week 9: James Blunt – "So Far Gone"
Week 10: Manic Street Preachers – "Some Kind of Nothingness"
Week 11: Take That – "The Flood" & "Back for Good"
Week 12: Paloma Faith -" Upside Down"

Matt and Aliona hopping around the country and Len being upset.
Kara and Artem - the dancing and romance and Len being upset.
Pamela and James - changed my view about older celebs.
Gavin and Katya - the unstoppable force V's the immovable object & funny.
Ann and Anton - an unlikely but good mix.
Scott and Natalie - burned brightly then burned out.
