Jenna on her own, seems fairly decent... has Farrah ruined it for her ?
And could she redeem herself if she realised this?

I think either of them without the other would be nicer, they each encourage the other's bitchy side.

Jenna is old enough to know better. I find her behaviour childish and Farah follows her lead, although they are both equally disgusting.

Decent? Really?

I don't think they have any more to redeem than the likes of Bobby or Natasha but I do think the two women bounce off one another so to speak.

I think Farrah follows Jenna's lead as she seems to look up to her, don't know why as I think Jenna is Poison
What name??

I don't think she's done anything bad enough to require redemption. And I think the housemates only want to separate them because one is easier to pick on.

I'm surprised you think Jenna is the more decent of the two, as Jenna comes across to me as the more malicious of the two.

Jenna is the worst of the 2 but nearly everything she says people seem to think its Farrah who said it.

Jenna is a strong minded 41 year old woman, a highly doubt she would allow a 24 year old who still has the mentality of a 16 year old girl to influence her. If anything it is the other way around, having said that I still like both of them lol.

Jenna is the more vindictive bitter of the two for all of Farrah's cheap antics I reckon she'd be better had Jenna not been inside

I wouldn't say malicious, exactly, more just not very bright and unable to see beyond her own viewpoint. She sees everything in black and white, there's no middle ground. She's highly competitive, broods constantly, holds grudges, allows slights to fester and grow out of all proportion and essentially takes everything way too seriously. And is utterly humourless. That mix might work in a USBB but it's just way too intense for a UKBB where people essentially just want to get along and have a laugh and a good experience.

Farrah is much more detatched and able to move on and get involved in a non-competitive way.

Hi viva, i agree with pretty much everything you say there but I hold to using malicious as it describes Jenna's intent. She intends to be hurtful when she makes her little comments to or about people. So that intent coupled with her hostility and desire to be nasty about everyone except Scoop looks like malice.

As you say she is utterly humourless and unable to let the smallest perceived slight pass. I would also use the term self righteous about her.

I just wish they'd show someone else as i find her behaviour really tiresome

I agree with about farrah.
They are two of the most un self aware people i have ever seen!

Jenna and farah are too far adrift now. They are a drowning couple and will take each other under for sure.

Absolutely. There have been moments when she's without Farrah and she's come across well imo. During the body shots game she seemed to be having a lot of fun without Farrah, plus there have been moments on the live feed where she's been without Farrah and has been fine.
Farrah, on the other hand, seems to have no interest in anyone outside of Jenna.

Redemption for what?

A bit of a melodramatic term isn't it? What has she done that's so bad that she needs to redeem herself?

If you mean what does she need to do to crawl to people to get into their good books? Then that's something entirely different.
Personally I think she should just carry on as she is. She isn't going to get any favours from anyone if she did try to adjust herself.

I don't think she needs to do anything in respect to redeeming herself because most of the venom towards her is coming from online.
In the house the housemates have frequently expressed that they quite like her, even Bobby last night said he had less of a problem with Jenna.

I think the true source of all the problems is Austin and Bobby, but many refuse to even consider that for a second.

If it came to a choice of whether she should split from Farrah or not I'd say no. certainly not.
Because one of the strengths of Jenna is her loyalty to Farrah. At times it's evident that she despairs when Farrah goes off on a mad one. But I think it's admirable that she is fiercely loyal and hasn't dropped her, which I think counts for a lot. There is probably more loyalty between these two than anyone else in the house, even Stevi and Chloe.
I'd like to see how loyal others' friendships in there are when they are under pressure and their friend is chanted and booed to high heaven.
She has also recognised other people in the house trying to split them apart as attempting to employ divide and conquer tactics.

I think they're better together than not. Does anyone seriously think that some of the other housemates wouldn't pick them off as they would be weaker apart than together?

I personally think that they should stick with each other, and people shouldn't worry about what they have to do in order to prevent being evicted.

Those two have saved this series from being a complete bore.

Being angry after hearing the others bitch about them is understandable. Some of the others would have got angry if the positions were reversed.

Planets, I just think a lot of the time, she misinterprets intent/tone/language and sees criticism in comments where none (or only mild) is really intended. And it hurts her and she retaliates. So while she can come across as malicious at times, I think, for her, it's just her responding in kind. And then it becomes a bit of an endless vicious circle...

I'm not defending her genuine nasty moments but I do think there's a lot of misunderstanding going on in there, not least some of the other HMs not getting that Jenna is genuinely out of tune if not actually bewildered at times by a BB that's foreign to her understanding of the show - hence why Scoop and Farrah are the people she clings on to.

But JMO.

First of all Jenna could only be close to Farrah or Scoop in that house as she has to be besties with an American due to her weird, competitive belief that the house is a US/UK divide even out with the tasks. Why, she even criticises Austin and Janice for being traitors because they mix well with the Brits even although both have been fiercely competitive and patriotic whilst in task mode.

Bearing in mind the above, if she drops Farrah her only besty option is Scoop. Now say what you will about his preaching and his inability to tell the girls when they're wrong, there is no way she would be able to influence and manipulate Scoop the way she does Farrah as a) he is too fair minded and b) his being influenced would never result in the hostile behaviour being displayed, on occasion, by Farrah.

Jenna has no option but to remain friends with Farrah because

a) Farrah is easily manipulated - she is the one who behaves badly when addressing the crowd allowing Jenna to look good

b) Jenna can continue her rampant nationalism with her as a friend and

c) I genuinely do believe there is an element of her thinking she is looking after Farrah - when, in fact, Farrah would probably flourish more without Jenna.

I don't think ether of them stand a chance with most HMs and people outside who don't even live with them, so why should they even bother It will be all over in a few days anyway.

I absolutely agree,

Jenna is the brains behind all the 'venomous attacks'.. She's two faced. She talks about being 'up front' but does all her nasty work quietly , behind people's backs

Did you notice her when they all sang Happy Birthday to Bobby ( who himself has his faults , of course ) standing at the back of the group pointedly not joining in and with a sour look on her face .when even Farrah joined in

Jenna is the real 'fly in the ointment ' in the house - she should be voted out at the first opportunity.

I think Farrah would start coming across better than Jenna in that situation.

He won't tell the girls when they're wrong AND he's fair minded? Jenna doesn't NEED to manipulate Scoop as they're both on the same page.
