100% fake in my opinion, for a couple who have been together 10 months their conversations are completely off. It is completely contrived. I hate it when they describe what they are doing or how their 'relationship' is progressing, it's like watching it with audio commentary!

IMO it is real, but based mostly on just physical attraction.

TBH I am on the fence, I don't really know if it's real or not.

Agreed, it is definitely real.

Chloe really is beautiful but for some reason has very low self esteem that cripples her, it could be something to do with her alcohol issues that we have learnt about recently. She is also naturally eccentric so people assume she is fake when that really is her genuine personality.

Stevie uses her codependent nature to his advantage and manipulates her like when he threatens to withdraw his intimacy (" maybe we should spend a few weeks apart when we leave here babe) ensuring she will cling on to him even more.

Since Stevie is lets say unique looking, I doubt he has had many long term girlfriends let alone a girl as beautiful as Chloe. People say there is no sexual chemistry between them but when Chloe was in her bikini and Stevie was studying her, his gaze was lustful. He fancies her alright and knows he is punching above his weight. I think many genuine couples may act unnatural and stilted out of unease when they know the cameras are on them analysing their every move. People don't make allowances for this.

The relationship is real. Chloe has many issues that imo Stevie is manipulating but there is no doubting her affection for him. I think he is starting to view her as hard work, nor does he defend her as much as she should. It is an unhealthy coupling but not a fake one.

Tis a bit rude to imply people who believe this relationship is real have "limited knowledge" of real life intimacy

When I was 19 I had a similar relationship where my older boyfriend would try to withdraw his intimacy to control me. He would use the "we need a few weeks break " line and of course I would get emotional and demand the opposite.

Chloe is only 21 and acts even younger. She is fragile with issues regarding her self esteem but the lady eccentricity is authentic and so are her affections for Stevie. Its his feelings I sometimes doubt but not hers.

Not from Chloe's perspective it isn't.

Tbh I wish they were separate housemates as I have grown to really like Chloe but Steve is not only a wet blanket he manipulates Chloe and doesn't stand up enough for her.

They look into each other's faces with empty shark eyes, and recite the mantra

Then they kiss by puckering up in an exaggerated way ( like Nana does when she's asking for a smacker from her little soldier grandson ) and then barley touch lips in as imperceptible a 'peck' as possible

I think its real, because of how shitty it is. I'd imagine if you were going to fake a relationship you would at least fake a good one. They will never get married though. Only thing Stevi likes about Chloe is her beauty.

I can't tell if they're acting out a fake relationship in a strange way, or if it's real and just strange (or be it not strange, just unlike how I've seen most genuine couples interact). i don't remember either that well on X factor (didn't watch that series in full) so I can't even tell if on their own they're the same as when on that. If it's real then crack on I guess.

They can peck each other all day and sit on each others laps, but the telling factor is the lack of proper face to face intimacy. She just flatly refuses to allow his mouth or the breath that comes out of it anywhere near her face resulting in a quite obvious involuntary pulling away or tucking her head down. Very obvious and very revealing.

I think it may be real but doomed. I find their way of talking to one another quite odd. Stevies "time outs" do seem a bit strange and controlling but as Chloe is so needy and fragile maybe it's something that they have agreed between themselves to do. I almost hope it's fake because if it's real it's very dysfunctional and I don't see it lasting.

I think they really are in a relationship outside of the house. I just think it's more of an "arrangement." What's fake is the script they've come into the house with. The recycled Emmerdale plots they churn out daily certain to climax in Chlovie's highly publicized and televised breakup. Although I'll give them a modicum of originality by having Stevie do the breaking up, by the looks of things. The man has the face of a ferret and an arse like grated cheese. Didn't see him as the one to initiate their separation but PLOT TWIST.

this is kind of my feeling behind why im thinking its authentic.
eg the break for 2 weeks comment would never be said if they were fake.

Chloe is a terrible actress. All her "crying" attempts have been atrocious at best. She's not "fragile" at all, in fact, she's been hardened by the showbiz mill and will do anything to hold on to last bit of fame she has.

Anyone falling for their act needs their head checked.
