I don't know how genuine or not they are. However even if it is an act remember its a game show and they are perfectly entitled to play what ever game they think or hope will work. Playing a game in a game show does not make anybody low minded.

We all know 'it's a game' is a valid excuse for certain behaviors, but claiming to be an alcoholic when it's quite clear that she's nothing more than a binge drinker (more common than not in the UK) is not normal gameplay behavior. When you start feigning 'illness's' to gain pity and admiration your stooping a fair distance under the morally acceptable behavior line.
A few white lies is is a common occurrence on BB, but these two are just extracting the absolute P...

Playing a game is fine, but it would be low to say you are an alcoholic just to try and win the game. If she is lying about it, and i think she is, then she deserves to be criticised for it.

The truth might be somewhere in the middle. Maybe she is telling the truth about being an alcoholic (its surely not the type of thing you would lie about?) but what she said about not being able to be around people drinking, or smell it, or open the can, is confusing, because right before the toast she was sitting up happily in bed chatting to Stevi and calling him a cabbage, and within an hour she was fully made up, dressed, sitting with people boozing, then laughing and dancing with the others, and kissed (wine breath) Stevi later on.

I think she is still drunk, when she sobers up she'll scream when she sees Stevi
