It's funny isn't it but it's these little things that makes an incredible amount of difference
Sometimes when I'm scrolling from page to page on the home screen, it seems to get itself stuck on the Spotlight Search screen, even though I didn't scroll to that

Exactly. It's a minor thing but it's irritating.

So here's something nice. Whenever I get in my car and my phone connects to the Bluetoooth, as long as I'm not already at home I'll get a push notification from Maps telling me traffic conditions for a journey home. This definitely seems related to my phone connecting to my car's Bluetooth. It knows I've just got in the car and so gives me a relevant notification.

Besides, IOS is how we run our lives. Well I do.. It's literally my only computer apart from an automated machine I run |

It's true to a degree but we all need our escapes and it does help to focus on something non life threatening. It's quite healthy not to be focused on something heaven all the time

Same here, well we have a laptop but I only tend to use it at weekends mostly for YouTube or looking up something on the web. During the week when I don't have time for loading up the computer and sitting at a desk, I use my iPhone 6 for email, web browsing, YouTube etc
I thought it was just me ![]() iPhone 6 Plus, came down from the iPad Air. I used to take it everywhere, under my cost, down town, to work, I'd whip out the iPad. Got ridiculous, IPhone 6 Plus was my absolute saviour |

This update should see a smoother, snappier and more personal feel across the OS. This, however, remains to be seen in real terms.
An uglier font A second search screen when you swipe left, as well as down An uglier app switcher More rounded in-app menus |

Nope, not for me. It's exactly the same as iOS 8.4.1, with the exception of:
An uglier font A second search screen when you swipe left, as well as down An uglier app switcher More rounded in-app menus Menus do more of what they should, pressing buttons open like they should and are more reliable.. Altogether, on my device it generally just feels like the finishing coat of paint. However the lack of ram is absolutely evident |

But just see how much faster you can close the background apps.
Improved by an order of magnitude. |

Improved by an order of magnitude. And anyway, I thought that iOS managed memory really well, and closing applications wouldn't need to be done

Everyone is saying that it has slowed their phone down drastically? I haven't noticed much difference myself.

Like a lot of people, since i did the download of IOS9 (last Friday) the drain on the battery is awful (Have the Iphone 5)
Previously even using the net whilst at work on & off I would never see the battery fall below 75% at worst throughout the whole day. Now however i can not use the phone for a few hours & the % seems to drop a couple every few mins & drops fast. When i go into Battery usage it keeps saying things like facebook 20 mins backgd, messenger 15 mins backgd, i have the background refresh apps switched off, always have done, so how/what is this backgd stuff it keeps talking about? Apart from the usual closing the app after use, which i always do, any other ideas on battery issues? |

Same happens with me when I go to work in the morning and come home in the evening. Not sure if its iOS 9 related or not as I didn't have this issue when I first upgraded. If I connect my iPhone via USB to my car stereo, instead of hearing music all I can hear is white noise ![]() Music through BT audio is fine. Have changed the leads, restored my iPhone and it still happens. Its def the phone as it does it with any car stereo I connect it to using the USB. Spoke to apple this morning and they were honest in admitting that they are stumped by this. |

Do you have that setting turn off in the phone setting? Also install battery doctor and click on memory boost and junk to clean up cache. It seemed to resolve by rapid battery drain problem.
Downloaded battery doctor earlier, the weird thing about that is i do the memory boost, clean up the junk part which reduces the memory down to say 36%. Then I dont touch the phone for say 30 mins & hit the battery doctor app again & the memory has increased to around 61% - but ive not used anything in that time period?! |
