Just joined the beta and downloaded 9.1, was very very easy, didn't even need a computer/iTunes! Got the new emojis and the news app which is brilliant might I add, lets you select which category's interest you then it shows you news that your actually interested in, looks quite good too. Probably other stuff under the hood but I've only just installed it on my iPhone 6 so I'll see how it goes, but very smooth and fast, no issues as such
Let us know how the battery life fares compared to iOS 9 or previous iOS's. .

Fixes the no alarm glitch my Daughter has on her iPhone 5.
Among others.

Weird, did not this not exist once before in IOS?
edit - it must be the similar thing mentioned from 2013

Yeah well I haven't done it yet, I just saw in the notes about the alarm failure and my Daughter happened to say today that the alarm wasn't going off. At the time I didn't know why.
Now I do.
Hopefully though you've installed it only to find it's worse than iOS 3 so I don't have to!!
Hahaha

It looks like he is unlocking it with his fingerprint. The inputting of the passcode is misleading.

I am hoping the 9.01 update fixes an issue I have got with ApplePay when I use it says on the handset that the transaction has gone through but does not go through on the retailers systems.

This is affecting all 3 cards I have on my account and worked fine on 8.4

Yes, in 9.1, not in 9.0.1. The latter was just a small update to fix bugs.

It's a pretty big "small update" at 1.81gb in size!

9.01 still hasn't fixed crap battery life.

Still only getting about 6 hours usage when I was getting 8.5 to 9 hours on iOS 8.4

By this do you mean the font of the letters on the keyboard are permanently lower case rather than upper case as was the case with IOs 8.4.1? If so you can change that within settings.
How I been wondering

That's weird - when i clicked on the downloading symbol in iTunes, it told me it was 1.81gb.

It's done now either way, but it did seem rather large.

iTunes will always download the full software image. The on-device updates are delta updates. 9.0 to 9.0.1 was 35 MB on my iPhone 6.

Sorry, I haven't read the whole thread but has anyone else noticed auto fill not working in safari? I have checked my settings and it all looks like it should be working but it hasn't been giving me the option on forms since the ios9 update.

Do you have Keychain turned on or off? Turn off autofill and back on again and restart you phone.

I did all that and it has worked, thanks. I had tried restarting etc but not turning auto fill off and back on again.

Check processes? The reported slowdown says there is a heck of a lot more stuff running as part of the OS.

Your best hope is that it is a single bug that can be fixed or a
settings that can get turned off.
