Jenna and Farrah - Alpha females
wolfenstein
16-09-2015
Watching this series of CBB, one thing that is evident is that Jenna and Farrah seem to show all the traits of alpha females. They are both very confident, self assured, intimidating at times, dominant, always stand their ground no matter what, and fiercely competitive.
They seem to have formed a strong bond. This seems odd, as alphas psychologically should not get on with other alphas because they both want dominance. Anyone have any views on this?

I do have a view. Jenna is Alpha, Farrah is not.

An alpha is supposed to be a leader who can influence a group and set the agenda. Does that really match either of them?

Jenna's the closest to that but they are both isolated and outside the group.

It really does not!

They are both the polar opposite of Alphas. Alphas are self-aware, for starters, and no one could ever accuse Jenna or Farrah of that.

Going on last nights LF I'd say that is certainly matches Jenna's profile.

She has been viewing it as a team game and was certainly Alpha female in team US - last night (after Scoops eviction) we saw her moving in to achieve dominance throughout. She is hard nosed and calculating - there is no room for emotion there.

I think that whilst Natasha is a strong woman she is sensible enough to let Jenna take the role but that doesn't mean she'll kow tow - she just knows that the public may not necessarily take kindly to a scheming, plotting female.

Farrah is in no way Alpha - she's just a loud, spoilt, annoying nuisance.

Alphas are not necessarily self aware. They are dominant aggressive powerful successful loud bossy etc...
take a look at this 'quiz' it's a good rough estimator.

Funniest topic I've ever seen on here! Alpha's command/ demand respect. these two are nothing more than whining little bitches.

I find it alarming that Women can behave this 'princess syndrome' way, and then claim that their personality disorders are all about being a 'strong independent woman' - How did we get to this point?

Jenna could be considered an alpha in that a lot of people in the house listen to her when she's talking tactically, as was evident on the live feed last night.

Having said that, I'd say Natasha is the alpha. Jenna and Farrah were always far more obsessed with her than vice versa. The fact that she got under their skin so effectively makes her, in my eyes, the most powerful (if that makes sense).
