to be fair and honest, Three seems too interested in announcing things and then failing at implementing those plans. If we follow what happened with 4G, I foresee most three customers won't have VoLTE until mid 2017.

Three is a joke lately. Both in Customer services, marketing, and social media.

You have to stop being a pedant and end your obsession with putting me down. It doesn't bother me but may cause you stress and that worries me. I feel I have accepted that iphones may make a little more than I stated and yes, there are places where honest people sell equipment for less than market rates but trading is banned in those places so anyone caught selling for a profit would be banned. I'm sure a fellow of your good character would be accepted immediately. Anyway, I was making a general comment and most would accept the point behind it. The fact that you needed to pick it apart and even go and find links says more about you than it does about me. So you need to get that looked at.

I would hate to have to link back to the thread where I gave my opinion that 800 and VoLTE may in some way be linked for 3 and EE and you tried to give me a dressing down for 'preaching' as I recall. Lord Lucan said at the time that EE were going to launch 800 before VoLTE, thereby 'blowing my ideas out of the water' or some such. Happened? Nope. All I was doing was stating an opinion of how things would turn out. Turns out that so far I was dead right.

If, in future, I am proved wrong, I will accept with good grace.

You should now spend 3 hours going through all my posts and find something I said that can be disputed and then I will accept my mistake and you will still be awesome.

Emvirofone are going to give me £106 for my Daughter's iPhone 5 32GB (which was mine, which I got in 2012 but had replaced by Apple a year later for free so it's unlocked (which is nice : )
Anyone looked at Envirofone's shop? Some really good deals on there.
Going to get her an iPhone 5c 16GB (pink obviously) grade A for £170 so the upgrade will cost me £60. Perfect!
I love iPhones...

No obsession whatsoever, you asserted that it is possible to buy quantities of the iPhone 5 for around £50 each, I'm just interested in where this is, as I see a profit making opportunity if people are happy to sell for £50 and it's possible to easily sell to the recyclers for £100-£130.

If it isn't actually possible and you were just talking nonsense or got carried away in hyperbole, just say so.

Jolly good idea, marvellous to hear.

So do you still think you will be able to buy an iPhone 6 for £50 in 2 years time?

One of the reasons why EE didn't bust a gut to get VoLTE to market first.

As it stands, EE will probably be third to market with it, along with 800MHz 4G.

Better to launch a product once it is fully tested and has the infrastructure to back it up.

Wifi is when you have broadband wifi and your phone is out of range of a network signal.
Essentially it compensates for a lousy network signal by using you home broadband wifi router etc.

Similar codecs maybe, but certainly different tech.

Who said anything about quantities? I'm sure I'll be able to buy an iPhone 6 for £50 in 2 year's time.

So, how about VoLTE and 800 for EE and 3? Still not related? I've re-read the thread and I think you should too because I was right and you were wrong. I didn't want to make a big deal of it but you can't seem to stop hassling me. The end.

So where is the iPhone 5 for sale for £50? Just a link or 2 to show you are right...

So you can buy one and sell it for £100? If you read back through my replies you will see that I have accepted that the £50 may have been a generalisation and not apply to iPhones. But you aren't really interested in that are you? You want to score some points and we already know that you 'don't suffer fools' etc.

Yeah, given time, I reckon I could get a 5 for around £50. I don't want one as it happens, looking for a 6. I'm not giving you any links so that is proof that I am a liar and you can give yourself a big high 5 or whatever you fancy.

Troll.

Perhaps stick to the facts in future?

Oh just stop it you muppets!!!
You can't get a decent iPhone 5 for 50 quid.
If you ignore the monthly payment (which I have to pay anyway), I bought an iPhone 5 for £120 in September 2012 (3 years ago) and I am now selling it for £106 to Envirofone. I could get more on eBay if I could be bothered.
That is quite simply, mental!

£60 and I bet I can.

Anyway, let's go back to the 800 / VoLTE thing. That'll be a thread killer. I was right though which is why Mr D is making such a hoo ha about the £50 iphone which I have already accepted was a general, off the cuff comment. He doesn't want to talk about the 800 thing.

Go back and look at the thread. It's funny now. I don't know what I ever did to him aside from maybe making some kind of slightly negative comment about EE or the iPhone, both of which I have had and used and both of which members of my direct family own and use and both of which I'm sure I will own and use in the future.

When I was younger we used pleb as an insult, as in an idiot, lower than you.

But often words mean completely different things up in geordie land
