Day 21: Is the bromance on the rocks?

Austin has been very argumentative of late. And with Jenna returning to the House with a friendlier attitude, can she turn Austin's best bud against him?

Oh dear Jenna is going to be much moee detested than Farrah if she turns them against each other.

But James can see Austin is losing it and might back away

Deliberately contradictory there from BB.

I do not think James will turn away from Austin...I think James will try and have another word with him.

Though I do think Austin is becoming more aggressive especially as James stated this last week.

I hope Austin will be ok.

You've got to give it to Jenna she is playing a very smart game in there, she is somehow managing to manipulate the whole house against the people she doesn't like.

I think James has to be careful. If he turns against his friend, whilst he's turned a blind eye or been easy on others bad behaviour. It won't make him look good.

Also for example he forgets that the reason why Austin was negative about Jenna when she first left was Jenna randomly provoked an argument with him on the couch before she got fake evicted.

She's picking them off one by one - so its hers a Farrah in the final

Kick her out!

James is right to feel the way he does. he and Austin are very different people. He has seen Austins aggressive behaviour from the beginning, They have had numerous talks about his manner. James woun't turn against Austin but he won't put up with his nonsense. I respect james for this. Austin is mimicking and mocking Janice and Chloe and has been for a long time. It aint cool.

But I wish he support him a bit at times. ie. Like I said above except for agreeing with Jenna why didn't he mention to Jenna that she provoked that reaction on Friday by starting the fight on the couch, but no its all Austin's fault...

Typical BB lol putting the blame on Jenna just so all the teenage girls shipping the bromance can blame her and not either Austin or James.
I'm sure she's enjoying it but James would still be mad at him with or without Jenna there.

James might be mad at him but if someone came to you and said those things wouldn't you be saying stuff like, oh I'm sure he didn't mean... go and have a chat with him about it, but no she's straight in with more crap to try and crowbar the pair apart.

She used to constantly get at Austin for being not fully team USA but last night she was the one saying it is no longer about UK versus USA mainly because she wanted to get the whole house to nominate Janice.

Agree with all of this!

I think James has been doing the right thing, having quiet words with Austin. I don't think he'll turn his back on him or anything, but true friends are honest with each other.

That being said he maybe shouldn't be speaking about it to Jenna. I know her and Austin aren't exactly at each other's throats, but she isn't exactly confidential or got either of the boys' best interests at heart.

Also, Jenna very rarely halted or spoke to Farrah, her friend, about her behaviour. She blindly defended her and joined in on the attack, so she's not really one to judge about anyone's behaviour.

Do we know why Austin has suddenly hyped up this last week? Any behaviour change usually has a reason.

I know it's laughable lol. James is clearly the driving force in questioning Austin's behavior as other video's & tweets today have gone on to show. Yet BB tries to twist everything to be either Jenna or Farrah's fault.

He has ALWAYS been like it from the start.
Yet now it's against people who are clearly popular with the public as Chloe/Stevie & Janice have been saved several times & Bobby, James is panicking that it will make him look bad aswell by association.
As long as Austin keeps his nastiness directed at Farrah (who is clearly unliked) James will be fine with it

This. Austin has always been the worst in there and at the heart of all arguments be it directly involved or setting them off and winding people.

Incredible that people like this twerp and call others puppeteers.

I know. I watched that video and I can't believe that BB present it as Jenna turning James against Austin, and people just agreeing with the video description just like that.
Because by watching the actual video it's James making most of the points there and Jenna just agreeing with him.
The video is actually about James complaining to Jenna about Austin. Jenna is simply of course agreeing with him.
It's also true what she mentioned when she saw (and we saw) James being kind about Jenna but Austin tried to manipulate him into going against Jenna.

I wish people could see things in a more balanced way.

There has been no behavioural change. He's been like this since the very first night when he tried to get his claws into Natasha, with some success it has to be said.
He actually told Natasha that he hated all the Americans apart from Jenna.

The only difference being is that it hasn't been focused on as much in the HL edits, as showing Austin looking bad may have very much affected how James came across by association.
By the way I don't think James is bad, that's more a comment on the editing. James seems okay for the most part as far as I'm concerned.
