So that late penalty for Aussies was good news for me personally too!

A few kicks missed maybe?

Hmmm, not sure I understand. If there hadn't been a late penalty, you would've been 1 off, instead you were 2 off.

If you think I've missed some successful kicks then please elaborate.

You are right!

Sorry I meant in the games - thought there would be more points given the high scores.

Please note: multiplication factors for the semi-final are 3 and 8.

Round Bonus: Which team will score the earliest try and which team will score the latest try?
Answers can be any of the following:

Team A/Team B (Team A scores the earliest try, Team B scores the latest try)
Team A/Team A (Team A scores the earliest try, Team A also scores the latest try)
Team A (If you think that there will be just 1 try scored in the semi finals)
No try (If you think that no tries will be scored in the semi finals)

-50 for the nearest, (which will be a challenge to work out!) or -100 if you are exactly right.

Additional Bonus: Backs v Forwards - How many more points will the Backs score compared to the Forwards? If you think the Forwards will score more points than the Backs your answer will be negative. This bonus will not count in the cup.

Scoring:
Within 40: You get the lowest total taken off your score (Semi Final 1 forwards, say)
Within 20: You get the lowest total and next lowest total taken off (SF 1 Forwards + SF 2 Forwards, say)
Within 10: You get all but the highest total taken off (SF 1 forwards + SF 2 Forwards + SF 1 Backs, say)
Within 5: You get all points scored in the two semi finals taken off your score.

Saturday 24th October 2015
South Africa v New Zealand

Sunday 25th October 2015
Argentina v Australia

Please predict by 4:00pm Saturday 24th October please.

DM Bonus:
At the end of the round, the round winner will get an additional bonus: this will be 5 X (The number of times Diego Maradona is shown on TV during the Argentina v Australia match). If they show the same replay multiple times it will only count once.

Assuming with the Maradona question, that if he is shown ten seconds before the kick off, that it would not count as one?

Correct - it would not count. Only appearances made between the start of the game and the final whistle.
