I'm happy James has gone to Austin and said all this because I agree. Austin's current behaviour has not been good to watch; him snapping at Chloe, Bobby, Janice and yes even Farrah in the previous 24 hours doesn't make him look good.

Eventhough I agree to an extent. I do believe he was right with what he said to Janice and Bobby. It wasn't their arguement to get involved in. Janice especially made the situation worse by interferring in the private conversation between Chloe and Austin when they were starting to work it out.

I'm half and half. I think he was too aggressive with Chloe and came across badly, yet I believe he had every right to tell Bobby where to go. There's nothing more annoying than people involving themselves in arguments that are nothing to do with them. Plus Janice acting as Chloe's mother is just weird.

Yeah, I think Austin's arguments with Chloe and Bobby were justified (especially Bobby!). But Austin does have a hot head and his valid points can sometimes be lost in that. It's good for James to have a word with him, as his friend, but then as his friend he's also got to make sure he has his back too. I fear Austin becoming a bit of a pariah in the house, there's a few whispering winnies in there that will jump at the chance of turning all the negativity onto him.

I hope Austin pays attention.

I don't like the way he exploited his dead brother in that argument , or that whole ceremony he put on , everyone has lost someone , you don't expect to have a bunch of strangers turn up at some anniversary of their deaths on a tv show .

it's sad that he lost his brother but it just looked like a rather tacky attempt to grab airtime .

Am i the only one who thought that was cringeably patronising from James? He's his mate, not his dad - taking him into a corner to admonish him is bizarre behaviour even if he is supposedly doing it for his own good.

i thought it was damn decent and courageous of him.
Austin can choose to ignore it but it was sound advice.

Agree, he's just looking out for him. James knows Austin would most likely receive nominations from Farrah, Jenna, Janice, Bobby and Chloe (even though they are not actually nominating), leading to him being up for certain.

Austin has been aggressive since day one, and he has ripped into Janice, Farrah, Chloe, and Jenna I see a pattern here, James words would have gone in one ear and out the other.

The first three I give you. But he has only had one outburst at Jenna and that was when she started that unprovoked arguement on the couches just before her fake eviction.

Also he fell out with Bobby, so I don't think there's a pattern. Austin said a few nights ago on the live feed, that in the real world that if someones annoying him. He just walks away. But he can't in the house. Also he said the lack of food was getting to him.

To be fair they're all in the same boat though. He does seem to have a bit of an attitude problem.

This.

I must agree and him going in on Chloe was ridiculous.

Well the US housemates are in the same boat, the UK housemates are on luxary budget. The Americans all seem to be struggling even Janice was saying that she was straving on last nights live feed.

I completely forgot about the luxury/basic food! That's got to be a bit annoying.

I was also referring to being cooped up with all those people in the house, although granted lack of food could make that harder to deal with. I do generally find him to be a bit "touchy" even when food isn't an issue though.

I'm growing to love James more and more every day. I liked him on the Apprentice at first but it really wasn't the show for him - he ended up driving me mad.

He is (IMO) just a really lovely, down to earth, unspoilt, northern lad. I don't think I've seen him put a foot wrong in there TBH and that's not because he's being cautious and cagey - he's just being himself.

I'm loving James.

He's not been the agressive one - I give you Farrah and Jenna...

Austin said himself in his VT that others would describe him as 'an asshole' . I saw a few ep of that horrible show he was on A-LIst New York and he was 'that'. To be fair he has really good qualities too and i really like him when he is fun. He has some things to learn about himself.

I agree. He comes across as being very genuine and, out of everyone, I listen to him and think "Yeah, that makes sense!".
