True, but in this case Austin is sexually attracted to James, and James has made it clear that he is heterosexual. I think that James tolerates it precisely because he assumes that gay men are all whores, and so he is setting a low standard for Austin.

It's not just based on how the HM feels about it. Jeremy and Chloe were in the toilet where there were no cameras and no other HMs. He could have held the door shut and assaulted her further* before anyone could have come to her rescue. Also, being a man he will undoubtedly be a lot stronger physically than Chloe. On top of that Jeremy was drunk and seemed a little volatile at the best of times.

Compare it to two close friends (in the house) of equal size and probable strength messing about in the open where James clearly felt no threat.

And with Joel and Aaron, Joel was clearly uncomfortable with Aaron's genitalia being so close to him and asked Aaron to stop, but Aaron didn't.

*not that I'm saying he would have, but Chloe had no way of knowing.

I realise you're a guy, but I can't help noticing a double standard here. I mean, if a woman was exposed and guys were like 'did she have a nice fanny?', then berating her if they thought she hadn't, people would take a pretty dim view of it, but it seems when a guy is exposed on this show, it's a free for all.”

Oh no. I'm not bothered if he is short or long. I was just wondering, that's all.

Just Austin getting his own back.. Besides, he's seen it all before. During one of the tasks James was changing when Austin was there and James wasn't wearing any underwear, so he's not exactly bashful.

I'm with you on this. Austin does come on too strong much of the time. James taking it as 'banter' is to lighten it I believe. James has allowed it to go as far as this in that manner and maybe has nowhere to go (in this vein). Austin not likely to go too far as he's married but seems a bit too horny where James is concerned. I quite like Austen when he's being level headed but that's getting more rare recently as he's having a row every night. Perhaps he's upping his game.

Of course, as he is "gay"..... I like James as much as Austin but do believe Austin gets accused of "going too far" more than james yet watching the livefeed and the clips on the official site James does just as much (having a laugh messing around with each other)........but then that is the editing for you, the producers want it shown like that too obviously...

It puts the incident where Austin pulls his pants down and asks James to rub him in a new light. I previously saw it as high spirits, but actually it is abusive. I am reluctant to take offence on James behalf, but because Austin smiles all the time and is gay they do not notice that he is a bully.”

I don't think you need to worry too much about James. Do a little research and you'll find he's quite handy with his fists and teeth. He could soon put Austin in his place if he wanted to. Austin's very boisterous and argumentative, but he hasn't punched, kicked or bitten anyone.

James reminds me of David in Emmerdale for some reason.

Austin is not very self-aware. I think he does not realise what a bully he is because as a gay man he gives himself a free pass.

If BB does not step in at some point James will snap, and Austin will not like it.

Austin is very much a game player, and he may even be hoping that James snaps; in order to get a bit of drama to up his profile - tearful apologies to James because his brother died or he was bullied at school that sort of thing.

The Americans really are an unattractive lot.

And there is the "B- WORD"It would not be big brother if that word was not being thrown around.....and a double whammy "a gay man bully".........

I don't like any of them in the house. Maybe the "Loose Woman", but I see so little of her I struggle even to remember her name. I did hear one of the other "Loose Women" say that she has a terrible temper, but all the British housemates seem far better at restraining their feelings. The British housemates are just as competitive as the Americans, just less vulgar.

Austin's claim to fame seems to be that he slept with a celebrity, and Jenna and Farah, not to put two fine a point on it, are whores.

They're both game players. They both want to make plenty of money off the back of this and they're both doing what they think it takes to achieve it. James is playing the nicey nicey role while Austin's doing the shouty American thing that Farrah and big bum do. I think Austin's been a gift for James. He would be pretty dull without the brash American to goof around with.

Humans bullying each other is quite common Maureen you know, both men and women in their different ways. That bald Scottish women throwing the batteries at that comedian bloke shows that she is full of anger. In her case her cowardice restrained her. That is why she picked on Chloe. She (rightly) perceived her as vulnerable. She even judged (correctly in my view) that Bobby would not turn on her. Around the American women she was supine.

One of the few good things about Austin is that he is not a coward. You could say that about all the Americans.

I wasn't sure about him. I couldn't actually remember him that well from The Apprentice (sing song on the tour bus aside ) but he does seem an OK sort. Probably in my top 4. And rising rapidly after last night

On "The Apprentice" James was greedy and immoral (in a hurry to get rich and not too bothered about how he did it) but he kept being saved by Lord Sugar (what a strange surname!) because he had charm, and was not vindictive (which is quite rare in that programme) .

I admit I am surprised that James in CBB seems nothing but charm, it obviously goes deep; but I agree with you that he is very focused on how much money he can make out of it.

Austin is the same. It is one of the things they have in common. Austin is playing the game by American rules - up the drama to get the votes. James is playing by British rules - the one who the British public believe to be the nicest wins.

Having said that Austin is more familiar than his other American housemates with British culture.

I am not sure whether either James or Austin knows where their niceness ends and their greed begins. The same is true for all of them - except for those Americans who see niceness as a weakness. It is that frontier spirit. In the UK we are too busy trying to get on with each other on this little Island.

LA must be a hell hole.

They discussed at night Jame's reaction to Austin. He's fine. It does not constitute bullying if both parties agree to this. Your picking on him because he's gay?? And describing Jenna and Farrah as whores?

Politically correct ****. They make money out of porn, and for all paying customers offer sex aids which realistically model their vagina and anus. As for calling me a "homophobe" because I am calling Austin out for his sexual pestering of James, that says more about you than it does about me.
