i mac repair

my imac as just comeback again from repare from applethird time now making a hell of a noise
sounds like the fan .theres a hell of a draught from the top .
any ideas before i ring them again its spending more time in for repair than im using it .

You did not hold the power button in at the same time you plugged it in/switch it on at the wall did you? As that will force the fans to be perm on max on an iMac.

Short of doing what this Apple article says https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204463 its a back in for repair job.

Maybe they forgot to attach the thermal sensor cable inside the mac to the logic board.. I made that rookie mistake myself last week when upgrading the hard drive in my brothers Mac! .
