I know they are selected for us and took that into account when writing my post.

“We may get clues, but reverting to patterns of thought based on previous experience does not equate to people forming accurate opinions about specific situations. In fact in some cases the idea that we are affected by our own previous experiences over the years is the perfect environment for our own biases to affect our thought process, which in turn may reinforce an existing bias.”
Will you be saying that to many people when they use things from BB's past to back up and argument or interpretation; and will you abandon such practices yourself, since you think it carries such a risk of bias? I don't think I've ever see you or anyone else say anything like that in this forum before. Normally, people use their knowledge and experience to help them understand what's happening in the current series and don't see anything wrong with that.

“An opinion formed by previous experience is almost the dictionary definition of bias.”
I didn't say, mean, or imply
formed by previous experience.
As with my other post, where I said "I find it hard to think of many HMs worse than Farrah", and your reply had it as "hard to think of
a HM worse than Farrah", you're not replying to my actual position but instead to one that would be ridiculous.
I didn't say, mean, or imply "
reverting to patterns of thought" either.

“It's still all based on what is presented to us, which is always very limited. We have to always take that into account.”
(1) It's not based only on what's presented to us.
(2) We're not incapable of thinking about it, so that we'd have to take it all at face value.

“As for 24/7 live feed, the truth is that nobody has ever watched 24/7 live feed, and even if anybody has somehow managed to they haven't watched a 24/7 live feed and seen all housemates at all times on all cameras.
Even if you watched a 24/7 live feed, what would be humanly possible to watch would still barely make up a fraction of everything that went on.”
There actually were some people who watched all, or nearly all, of the live feed in which the HMs were awake (usually, at least, with the aid of recordings); but even people who didn't watch nearly that much still benefited from knowledge gleaned up people who watched at different times than they had.
In any case, nothing I said relied on anyone watching 24/7 or on cameras showing all HMs at all times.
If you think we didn't learn anything from those years about how HMs behave and how BB edits, then I think you're wrong.
