Plus the whole diary room crying where she feels scared makes her seem so fake...I'm sure someone under all that crying we'll see the real Chloe...

I actually think he is manipulative and is likely responsible for just how insecure and dramatic she is now.

He blows hot and cold, tests her boundaries and barely stands up for her. No wonder she is such a mess.

I'm not a fan of either of them, but he is quite a nasty piece of work (but subtle with it).

I think you've made some very good points here .
I was on to him , when she was being accused of being so clingy in the early days,
but he thought he was being sneaky telling her in the toilet that he saw the way she looked at James and he was seeking reassurance from her .
They came out of the toilet then she was hanging all over him .

True, but he is also a bit of a drip, who either has no opinion on anything or is too scared to say it.

I'd have jumped to Chloe's defence immediately if she were my fiancé. I just don't get him.

Yes, it's ok to be placid and a peacemaker, but occasionally, you're going to have to get your hands dirty when people cross the line! You can't be Mr Placid 24/7 or you become Mr Doormat

Yes, I actually found that whole incident over James a bit disturbing.

He was gaslighting her by telling her she had done something wrong but, if she didn't know what it was, he'd just have to let it go. I hate to say it, but that is classic emotionally manipulative behaviour.

It must've been some edit he got on the XFactor, it's like two different people. I thought he'd have more life about him.

I do like him and Chloe though.

You don't know what manipulative is then.

Or you're blind to what manipulative is ?

You dont need an education to notice what he's up to .

I must be the odd one out then, because I can the argument Mrs Checks brings up, and the arguments against Chloe, i.e, I think it's both of them.

I agree. The relationship is toxic all round.

Its not.
It is him.
The more im watching them the more im seeing its him.
He's a Mr nice guy..when he IS ACTUALLY massively passively aggressive.
He also says to her a lot "its not you babes"....irrespective of what has happened to them both in there.
Maybe that's why Austin is getting pissed off at Chloe...because he wants her to stand up for herself.
There is all tiny nuances that people pick up on that make them go off a person.

The relationship is not real. It is why Stevi did not stick up for Chloe. He didn't know what to say.

Stevi is not manipulative. He is just playing up to the cameras and trying to create some drama for air time. Everything is fake, fake, fake.

I can't understand why he bothers. He has a pleasing personality and could do so much better.

Just watch him CC.
He would love to blow.
He's containing a lot.
if he wasn't he wouldn't have said to Austin to stop it as he wouldn't like to see what he's capable of doing.
Chloe is a free spirit...she's unbridled sadness.
Stevie is...pent up rage hidden by MR nice guy.

Stevi manipulative? He's a people pleaser and Chloe is reliant on him to please her.

He gives her what she needs, and she gives him what he needs - the answer to both is a relationship.

If you're looking for manipulative there are MUCH better candidates in that house. In fact, it's infested with egotitis and manipulitis.

This isn't about the house though...its about them.
Stevie is getting way more out of the relationship.

Chloe has serious issues. It's clear that she does whether she is faking her emotional state or not. I actually feel sorry for her now. Stevi seems an okay although somewhat cringey bloke although he is clearly playing up to the cameras with his monologues and such. As a pair there is absolutely zero chance that their relationship is genuine. It's all to get a deal with Hello magazine and the like and that's what really bothers me about them.
