Yep i'm the same

As for James winning ,as others have said he's done well in there and would be a deserved winner

Did this nugget come from a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend too per chance?

Why should it matter? Gay/straight = irrelevant, unless you're going to shag them.

I like James...but...and there is a but.
Its his The Apprentice thing.
To be on that you have to be ultimate, do whatever it takes to win.
I like him but ...I am not 100% convinced he is totally genuine.

Look at his 6 pack, one half has slipped and they're asymmetrical. Even if they weren't asymmetrical, which is a dead give-away, he's a bit too chubby - not overweight just the wrong body type for it to look natural.

Thank goodness we have an anatomical expert on DS to help solve all these little mysteries and clear up any doubt

I'm not supporting anyone this show; again! I'm not a James fan at all; but I don't find him unacceptably disingenuous. Disingenuous, yes, but not unbearably so. He did a hell of a lot of 'he said/she said' in the first week that contributed considerably to the tensions that already existed. I find him quite wet, really - he's Stevi but with a prettier face and abs; and slightly better able to account for himself.

I think he's played a blinder, though, and I've finally come around to being able to commend someone on a game well played. He's not been particularly nasty since that first few nights when I felt he was needlessly stirring - but that was mostly just attempts to ingratiate himself with one group or another.

He'd be better than Katie P/Chloe for me; not by much, but still better. The lesser evil seems to be the running theme.

I can't really disagree with this but I would be disappointed if the tedious gimp won because it would mean that nobody more interesting has had a run. I think it more likely that someone with a bit more oomph will have a late run and take the crown.

I know what you mean. I love an edge to pick at and I am watching him with a really critical eye but I so far I can't find a single reason not to like this guy.

Thank the Lord for that. I was worried he might actually be perfect. But this has reassured me. We can't have a winner with wonky abs can we?

I'll just leave these here.

And before you all say "but he wasn't involved with the care home" a little reading between the lines is necessary - that's calling jumping ship before the brown wet stuff hits the fan.

A man who paraded himself as "multiple business owner" on the apprentice. Yet first sign of trouble and suddenly he "used to be involved" or was "just an employee".

I've no time for liars or people who contribute to the suffering of others.

These are not the actions of a man who deserves to win anything but a trip to the job center. But hey, he's fit so never mind eh.

I thought we judged them on what they do in the house.

I'm sure most of them have stuff in their past.

Don't we judge people mostly from what they do in the house?

If you give me a day I could build a case file for every hm and everything they have ever done in their life.

Guess it's tactics though. When someone gets popular...look for things to dig up...

Yes he's won this with ease.
I agree with you that he hasn't done that much which you could single him out as being unlikable. He hasn't really put a foot wrong.

Apart from his violent assaults he seems like a real angel.

OK, I'm really not a James fan. However, there's nothing in those links that would make me sit up and take notice. He should be more careful in management of his business concerns and he shouldn't park in disabled bays; but none of these are enough to significantly change my views. I think he's fairly insipid but not majorly dislikeable. If anything, I think his stint on the apprentice has led to every little aspect of his life and business being microscopically analysed in the media. If every business had every regulation breach reported widely like that, there'd be a lot of people in trouble, sadly.

Mind you, this slow-dawning revelation that the price of fame for a businessman is magnified scrutiny hasn't stopped James pursuing fame, so I suppose it's all fair game.

I think that's true to a certain extent.
Sometimes people do change, or try to change. Many of them won't have been angels in their past, and perhaps some of them may have done horrible things in their past. But I think you sometimes have to cut people some slack over things they may have done quite a while ago.

James is obviously a very predictable winner. But so what? I don't think it has to be the case where you have to stop somebody from winning just to be contrary because it would be predictable if they won.

I didn't take to him much on the Apprentice, but on BB I like him. He seems to have handled things well, overall.
I wouldn't be upset if he didn't win and I keep in mind some of his worst Apprentice traits could well be a side he's keeping well under wraps in the BBC house, but right now I get the sense he has the upper hand (because he's been around drama but not the root cause of it or become the centre of it) and I think he'll get bigger votes than others. Until recently I thought Austin had a chance, but it seems lately in the house he's been getting on people's nerves and even James has had to remind him to check his attitude, which is a shame.

He's not afraid to confront his friends. On that last exclusive on bots when he shut Austin up after Austin was being cold to Stevie. 'How would you like it if you got picked out for everything you do?'

Yes, I have always had this doubt too, I don't think he can change that much from when he was on the Apprentice, he's so different, so I'm not sure he's genuine either. I have this nagging doubt!

But the problem is that when he was on The Apprentice that too was a highly controlled TV programme which was edited to elicit certain emotions from the viewers by making archetypes for them to cheer or boo at.

You play a character on The Apprentice. I know someone who worked behind the scenes of it and stated people get 'villain' roles.

Also it's 10x more edited than BB. 55 mins out of a week. They can make anyone look terrible.
