Nancy has been my favorite for a while now.
She has a good head on her shoulders, she is great with Tam and Maddie Hill is fantastic playing her. Her Epilepsy is being dealt with excellently as well. I am surprised DS doesn't love her actually, for as much as the forum members bang on about there isn't enough justice in EE, they complain about Nancy interfering on peoples wrongdoings as well. My runner up would probably be Dean. Just to stress this, I don't particularly like him as a person and I do not in any way defend him for raping Linda, but as a character I think he is good to watch. Special mention goes to Stan who would have been my favorite. |

Nancy is probably the only Carter I'd say I like. A few of the others are OK.

I also like Nancy, but she can be very annoying when she's meddling in other people's business (even though we know she's only trying to help). I think her pairing with Tamwar is brilliant.
I picked Lee as I think he's finally being used in the right way. I like his current storyline and his relationship with Whitney. In the past I would have said Dean (like it's been said, only because overall he's interesting to watch) but now I really can't stand him. I hate what EE has done to him as a character. |

it's still Shirley, but I love Mick too. And I adore their relationship. The only Carters I'm not keen on are Tina, and of course, Dean.

It's a close one between Nancy and Mick.
I'll go with Nancy....just. I love her relationship with Tamwar and the Masoods. While some don't like her interfering, I like her thoughtfulness. Mick has been at his best in many months. Linda has shot up in my books. I hated her at the start, but she really is becoming one of the best female characters on EE. Buster has grown on me. Lee is kind of hit and miss. Shirley is only likeable when she is around certain characters. She has never been the same since Heather's death. She's at her worst when Dean is around. I love her interactions with Denise, Carol and when Jean makes her odd appearances. Babe is alright in doses. Not someone who is needed in the long term. I loved Tina at the start, but she is becoming a bit annoying. Doesn't help that she's paired with Sonia. Cannot abide by Elaine. Too OTT and hammy. Dean is my least favourite character on the entire show. I haven't hated a character this much since Derek Branning. Hopefully he will be written out sooner than later. |

Nancy is my favourite Carter.
I love her and Tamwar's relationship. Also, I think that she has a good moral compass. She only gets involved in things because she is trying to help. Maddy Hill seems like a good person. She seems to care about what is happening in the world and does her bit. I do like most of the Carters. I'm indifferent to Aunt Babe and Tina. I don't like Dean. Shirley can be annoying. |

Sylvie the mad old bat. I would like Babe to try and break her legs in her 3 wheeler a la Baby Jane.

I quite like evil manipulative Babe, as long as she's not overused. I was happy to see her family allow her to come back home, but I'm not sure if it means we'll get too much of her.
I've really taken to Buster. I've enjoyed him in the Roya storyline with Shirley in particular. He makes anything with Dean seem more bearable. Dean annoys me. I don't particularly like Roxy so I find it hard to show any interest in what's happening there, and there's also the fact that he should be suffering more for what he did to Linda. I hope he gets a comeuppance soon. I will say he was brilliant to watch during the Roya storyline. Elaine is a very OTT character, so it's been good to see her rarely. Not sure what to make of her three month stint coming up, but Scott Neal is hot so she obviously has her uses. I'm happy Lee finally has a story as I've mostly found him dull. I'm finding it interesting he suffers with depression as I've struggled with that in the past. Keep it up. I've sympathised with Linda since the rape, and feel she's getting a raw deal by Dean still being around. I hope it comes out soon as he is just hitting the same beat repeatedly. The continuous Mick/Shirley scenes were repetitive. There was so much shouting back and forth that I lost interest for a while. Recently though, he finally called her mum, and their storyline with Stan's ashes and Babe was actually quite touching. I also find he is quite a funny character a lot of the time. I'll put him down for good improvement too. Nancy was annoying when she was asking Mick if he murdered Dean every five minutes, but I love her relationship with Tamwar. Possibly my favourite relationship in the show. Her epilepsy has been dealt with in a good way too. Shirley is perhaps used too much, and can very often be a difficult character to like. Linda Henry plays her to perfection though, so I usually find myself compelled to watch whatever crazy fun she's involved with this week. Tina is a weird one. I remember enjoying a lot of scenes she had with Stan, and I like how she has been trying to help Mick and Shirley sort their differences out. I thought her and Sonia were well suited at first as well but that relationship has become so dull. Se hasn't really done much else to speak of. So in conclusion I don't have a a favourite, but I think Buster, Shirley, Nancy, Linda and Babe are up there. |

Nancy's my favourite. I love her and Tamwar's relationship, please don't split them up!
I like Mick, Linda and Lee too. They all have a great family bond together. I miss Johnny. ![]() (Please come back Sam!) I hate Dean. Babe and Sylvie are interesting to watch as characters but I don't like them as people. Tina's meh, sometimes she's ok, other times she's annoying and immature. Hopefully less immature now Mick and Shirley have kind of made up a bit.. I don't mind Buster. I can love or hate Shirley, it depends on who she's with and what she's doing. I hate her when she gets involved with Dean and gets nasty against Linda. I love her when she's funny, like when she scared Kim during that episode when Linda called social services on Kat accidentally and when she was there for Carol. Have I missed anyone? Oh yeah, Elaine. Meh, she's ok in small doses. I can definitely see why Linda didn't fancy going on holiday with her though, she can be a bit much. But I think it's good to have her pop in every now and then to have her help when needed. |

It changes all the time but today I voted for Babe as I think she has been fascinating recently. The only ones I don't really like are Tina (too childish), Buster (hasn't been developed enough yet) and bloody Dean (can't act).
No opinion on Ollie. The rest all keep me interested when they are on screen. |

Shirley - the original and the best. Also Buster as her partner. If they hadn't destroyed Dean by making him a rapist he would be up there too.
As for the rest of them they can't be gone soon enough for me especially Babe, Elaine and Mick. |
