They have all moved and merged into one enormous super-thread.
It will now slowly absorb all other puny threads until no thread exists but the one true thread.
It will be called
"My Precious....."

I was only trying to help wish I had not bothered, I struggle with both English and Maths and was using threads relating to articles as a way of discussion.

Perhaps it might be an idea to contact the Mods direct and just ask what the reasons were and ask for some pointers of what you need to do in future? Have you checked the email you registered with or your personal message box? Sometimes they will contact you first if they are moving or deleting posts, or if they need to let you know if you have been a bit over enthusiastic. So I understand, anyway

Sarah, the moved threads have all been put into the Abbey Clancy thread where you can read them .

Some posters complain to the moderators when another poster posts too many threads on the same page . Its called spamming the forum .

Hi Sarah, I understand your situation and apologise for the above post. It was supposed to be amusing but comes over as flippant and anything but. Don't know how to remove it but if the mods want to that's fine by me.
As others have said they've all been moved to the same place, and I myself know how suddenly you can find you've posted a lot more than you thought you had.
Once again my apologies, and all the best.

Hello Sarah, thank you for taking the time to contribute to the Strictly Come Dancing forum with your threads, I have a struggle with English and Maths too, I know that they are hard subjects to try and get to grips with, please don't be disheartened, like myself I'm sure that many people found your contributions here to be both interesting to read and worthy of your efforts, I look forward to being a part of any future Strictly Come Dancing discussions that you choose to raise here.

you can actually click on them Sarah - the mods have just moved them into other threads

I think you will only discover why if you contact the mods directly and ask them

Why not ask the mods to rename the Abbey Clancy thread 'strictly gossip' or 'strictly in the media' or start a new thread with a generic name and carry on posting media story chat in there? The issue wasn't your posts (because they're all still there, just in one place) but a proliferation of similar threads - the mods were just tidying up, not stopping you posting.

If you look at the bottom of the page, you'll see links to the forum Terms and Conditions and Community Guidelines which are worth a read

Sensible advice. the Mods will always tell you if they do something and give you a reason why, so I am surprised you're asking for an explanation.

I have asked for the Abbey Clancy thread to be changed it is now News on Contestants and in reasponse to Sofakat I was only trying to help and I never read Terms and Conditions for anything usually as they are very likely written by people with degrees so I would not understand them anyway.

Well done on getting the thread's name changed and yes please do carry on posting. Like you I haven't read all the terms and conditions and I very much doubt if many posters have.

Very useful they are too Sarah , but just a few too many and it was irritating some posters . Your new thread will hold all the gossip nicely .

PS, I sent you a PM (private message) on weds explaining in simple words how to do links . If you check your messages (in your profile) it might help you with future posts .

The community guidelines are not written in complicated language and are intended to be helpful to new (and old!) posters.

I am hopeless at reading small print Susan I would consider myself to be a bit of a geeky anorak if I knew everything off by heart, I tend to just sign up for things and tick the box without reading all the small print most of the time, its probably not the best thing to do but I'm sure many others are the same as me.

The thing is, because you have to indicate you have read and agree to abide by them before you can register, the Mods tend to assume you have - so you don't really have a leg to stand on if you should transgress. They aren't long and are fairly easy to understand (most are pretty obvious anyway, from memory) and the Mods are easily contactable if something should need further explanation. Having a broad idea of the T&C's just helps avoid frustration on both side of the Modding fence.
