Agree with your opinion on The End of Time.

I don't think its the worst episode but for me its definitely one of the most underwhelming/disappointing, Time Of the Doctor wasn't much better either, only Chris Eccleston last outing delivered the goods when it comes to a satisfying regeneration story imo.

So many awful ones though tbh.
The Idiot's Lantern, Love and Monsters, Curse of the Black Spot, A Town Called Mercy and Fear Her would be my absolute least favourites, hard to choose just one to detest the most.
I'll go with Love and Monsters because the doctor isn't in it much and he's the main point of the show after all.

In the Forest of the Night was a terrible, terrible inexcusable slur on the program but I normally go between Love and Monsters and Fear Her as my least favourite. I get the hate for Rings of Akhaten even though I didn't mind that episode too much but I'm at a loss as to people not liking The Doctor's Daughter and The Curse of the Black Spot. Sure they weren't masterpieces by any stretch of the imagination but neither were they terrible either. The Curse of the Black Spot may well have come after probably my favourite series 6 episodes and certainly the higher end of the 10 years stint but I'm not judging it next to them. I could go on but I won't.

Fear Her.

Many of the above have a good shout at being sub-par or, indeed, poor, but the Olympics section at the end of Fear Her managed to successfully catapult a dull episode into the most embarrassing thing that's ever been shown in the name of Dr.Who. Never mind Nu-Who, this is worse than even The Sensorites or Time and the Rani.

Fear Her definitely. There are weaknesses in all the episodes I've seen mentioned - poor idea for a story, poor execution of a good idea, characterisation, poor CGI etc however for me Fear Her will always trump the others.

Having just re-watched Forest of the Night I appreciate exactly why it is so loathed, however, it was a more interesting idea than Fear Her and had some nice moments here and there (basically Capaldi moments) and I actually liked Danny Pink in this episode (he showed some character and intelligence) whereas I cannot remember anything that was good in Fear Her at all.

Victory of the Daleks. By some considerable distance.

It's definitely between Fear Her, Let's Kill Hitler,The Wedding of River Song,The Christmas special in between series 6 and 7 (the doctor, the wardrobe and something else) and the most recent Christmas special. Moffat's era of the show sadly has had nearly as many episodes that I hate as that I like

Tough choice. It would be between The Rings of Akhatan, Series 8 and The Doctor, The Widow and The Wardrobe, but if I must only choose one it would be

The Doctor, The Widow and The Wardrobe.

Nothing about this episode is good. A woman who can't drive a car somehow drives a futuristic Mech, flies a space ship, saves an alien race, her children, oh, and just for good measure, her husband and his entire crew. Nothing about the episode was done well, the plot is infinitely contrived and The Doctor, aside from setting up the initial scenario, could have left the episode about fifteen minutes in; he is just window dressing from that point on. It was an abomination from start to finish and it makes Paradise Towers look like Shakespeare.

Now, see, I don't mind The Doctor the Widow and the Wardrobe at all. I find it quite charming. That it's drawn from the Narnia stories and set in a nostalgic version of war time England only adds to its charm. It's supposed to be schmaltzy. It just works as a Christmas episode.

I remember really enjoying the first half of Akhatan. It was 'classic' Doctor Who for me. A new world, meeting the locals and the drip feeding that all was not well on this planet. I thought the Doctor and Clara were doing the whole Doctor/companion thing well.

It all falls apart the moment they hop onto the space bikes and go visit the asteroid (whatever it was) then it all becomes poorly paced and executed. A wasted 'monster' (again a visually wonderful monster that actual does bugger all ) and the Doctor holding up a door for what seems like an eternity. But the main thing was the Doctors big speech. This should have been the climax, the resolution, the big bad's defeat. But no, it was followed by Clara' and her sodding leaf saving the day.

So... lovely first half that, for me at least, had a true classic feel to it. The second half felt too reworked, re-tweaked and re-written. Especially with the leaf being crowbarred in at the expense of the Doctors big moment.

I dare say it could have made a good two parter with the Mummy monster coming down to the planet and reeking havoc. (As they do)

So I wouldn't say it is one of the worst episodes. Certainly a 50/50 thing going on.

Kill The Moon simply because of the 'large insect lays an egg too big to have been inside it's body' storyline/cop out.

Probably the Rings of Akatan for me. Uninteresting, stupid and dull.

'Fear Her' has worse moments (council worker sketch, Olympics opening sketch) but its overall quality is probably higher.

The entire god awful Danny Pink arc. Was so happy when that arrogant pointless character was killed off.

The very fact he spent his entire arc calling The Doctor, a man who had spent the previous few centuries on the front line of a galactic war on Trenzalore, a man who up until quite recently in his time line thought he was responsible for the destruction of his entire planet and its population, 'officer' and accusing him of always having to keep his hands clean irritated me to the point I just stopped watching. Every word out of Danny Pinks mouth just made him seem like more of a nob. He literally had zero redeeming qualities. Not a single one. I'm actually watching Death In Heaven on BBC three now and even when he's saving the earth I want to punch the idiot.

Also when we found out the moon was an Egg.

Yes love and monsters is bad but in the forst of the night takes the whole biscuit it was very boring watching the doctor pamper kids and trying to stop trees from invading londons and watching little red riding hood run away from wolves, love and monsters although it was a filler at least had its funny intresting bit and a story like when that man saw jackie at the launderette that was funny as hell that and i didnt have the patience for clara trying to work out her relationship issues in the middle of the forest in the night

I'm fairly sure that Matthew Graham would have been many fans' fantasy future showrunner if he hadn't written that awful episode. The "Life on Mars" guy seems like such a natural fit.

Anything with the Slitheen in it.

I think slitheen episodes were basically filler

The programme is called "Doctor Who". "The Doctor" is a main character within the programme but by no means the only one, and, indeed, in the early years there were other characters with almost equal standing and there were quite a few episodes where The Doctor didn't appear. So to dislike an episode just because one of the main characters isn't in it much seems bizarre to me.

Hardly, they were main players in Series 1.

How what did they contribute to the main storyline other than margeret being the main reason they got captured and teleported onboard the game station after leaving raxycuricofalipartorious

It was Margaret who supplied them with the Extrapolator which was later used as a permanent shielding feature of the TARDIS - used to safely board the Emperor Dalek's spaceship and also to defend the Game Station in The Parting of the Ways. The Extrapolator was mentioned again as far in as Journey's End at the end of Series 4.

They were the first two-parter of NuWho, and the first major threat to present itself publicly on Earth as distinctly alien - a growing theme across RTD's vision of Doctor Who.

Aside from that they didn't need to be any more important. Their stories were otherwise quite self-contained, but pivotal in their own way to Series 1. They also had a future outside of Doctor Who, by serving as a major threat in The Sarah Jane Adventures: Series 1 - in the first and final stories, Revenge of the Slitheen and The Lost Boy. Their cousins the Blathereen were the main threat of the Series 3 finale The Gift.

Surprisingly they were also meant to be used on several other occasions. They were meant to be used in Series 2's The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit as the slave race on the Sanctuary Base - though instead the Ood were introduced. And they were meant to be a threat in the canned Rose Tyler: Earth Defence spin-off too.
