New Amazon Kindle Fire/ Fire HD tablet range released
New range of tablets from Amazon starting from £50. I wonder how they compare to last year's range. I have a Fire HD 6. More powerful yet cheaper?
New 4K Kindle Fire TV coming too with enhanced gaming capabilities I believe. http://www.theguardian.com/technolog...e-tablet-hardy Edit: Blimey, DS has reviewed it already!! http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tech/rev...poyQgelCyE015Q |

I was looking at them earlier. At the top end at least they are using last gen Mediatek chipsets, but very OK none the less.
DS sort of describes the OS as adware which if you read this it is. http://www.theguardian.com/technolog...pps-games-free Everyone is going in the ad money direction at the moment. |

Yes, whatever its faults you've got to give Amazon credit for trying new ideas...or more likely, stealing less known ideas and taking them to the mass market!!
![]() Interesting that the lower end tablets are now just called Kindle Fire. Also, has Amazon finished with its high end iPad rivalling HDX range? |

I see the HD8 and HD10 are now available. Various release dates for the others. Got to wait another month for the £50 ones. They're probably ensuring that they have plenty of stock.
