I'm really struggling to see where the Lucy plot is going now. We know Max/Jake is taking a break, so are we honestly expected to believe that Lauren will allow her dad to be wrongfully imprisoned for months/a year without coming to his aid? I think that would really damage her as a character. I'm still struggling to believe that she didn't march straight into the first police station upon her return.

Yet, I can't see how Max won't be going down at this point. Unless he gets out and then moves away for a bit... but then why would he ever come back?

And another thing. As if Peter would let Lauren come back to the UK knowing that she knows that Bobby killed Lucy and that he dad is being put on trial for the murder. The whole thing is becoming a mess.

I always felt the key to this story was once Jacqueline jossa Lauren returned .

I have always believed plot would have been very different had the actress not become pregnant.

It's a bit messy we know Lauren is back for a few weeks but it's still a bit mysterious as to how this will unfold in relation to the trial and Jake woods temporary exit.

My prediction he is found not guilty leaves with Lauren for New Zealand but then she comes back alone again in the new year

But seriously I do hope that she tells the truth about Bobby since choosing Bobby over her own father would be ridiculous. I think Max will be set free and leave Walford to get away from people thinking that he's a killer walking around on the streets. He will probably be back for Abi. On another note, are Lauren and Peter officially married yet?

The way this is panning out is ridiculous, imo.
So many people now know Bobby did it and that Max is innocent, yet they're agreeing to keep quiet?
Liam? Cindy? Peter? Lauren? Sharon? Phil? And of course Jane and Ian. Anyone else?
Liam and Lauren are both directly related to Max.

I don't buy it.

It's all so Jane can step in and be a hero...then we can forget about her ramming Lucy's body in the boot of her car, and dumping her for a little girl to find. Another character playing god and looking after no 1.
