whats odd is that despite a serious injury and being in a com, we never see Ronnie having any check ups. You don't just get back to normal like that so quick. They showed her with a cane for a while but they should have done more.

I cannot stand Ronnie. She has been ruined and Charlie is a better parent than her.

Ronnie should have a check up. Her character is still interesting though.

Quite honestly the worst character at the minute.
No problem with Sam Womack, its just you know your mood is going to be pulled down by her constant mardy persona |

How did you work that one out, at the beginning he wanted nothing to do with him and abandoned him, you can't make up for that. Ronnie will protect him no matter what but Charlie is just using the kid to get to Ronnie.
It could have been a good storyline if Ronnie struggled to bond with Matthew after waking up from coma but no, she was more interested in her own love life, her sister's dramas and Kathy. Of course it's just my opinion but hopefully Ronnie will be a better mother. |

Only now is she acknowledging Matthew, why did they make Charlie boring? why make Roxy sleep with another of Ronnie's blokes all rubbish and downfall. |

That's true that in the beginning, he wanted nothing to do with Matthew but he manned up and he spent a lot of time with him when Ronnie was in a coma. He struggled sometimes but he was there for him when Ronnie was in a coma. Obviously that wasn't Ronnie's fault but since she woke up from coma, she didn't spend enough time with Matthew. She cared more about Ronnie/Charlie than Matthew's welfare. She looked bored when she was looking after Matthew on her own and she said to Vincent that she had enough of watching daytime shows when she was at home looking after her son. Her son should be the most important person in her world. When Ronnie slept with Vincent in her home, she looked annoyed when Matthew was calling out for her. After that, she was staring at the "Ibiza" poster and it sounds like she wanted to go back partying in Ibiza and she was fed up of motherhood. Ronnie chucked Charlie out and refused to let him seeing Matthew on regular occasions which annoyed Charlie. I'm hoping Ronnie will be a better mother soon but right now, she seems to care more about Roxy than her own son.

Ronnie was my favourite character in eastenders and I mostly watched for her the first few years, through the whole Archie story and after she just shined. The babygate was of course awful but Sam Womack was still outstanding. I have no idea why she is putting up with this rubbish she's been given. I understand Ronnie wanting to leave Charlie after he slept with Roxy, but she should never have forgiven either of them. I just don't get it at all and I loved Ronnie and Charlie until the car accident, now I just find it awkward and unbelievable to watch:

I actually think it would've been better if Ronnie returned towards the end of 2014. They could've written Carl White out in a different way. Sam's constant breaks gave us no continuity last year. Charlie could have been paired up with Stacey perhaps. Roxy was good with Aleks.

The decimation of Ronnie's character is really sad to watch. She used to be utterly brilliant, engaging, beautifully written and wonderfully acted. Now... ugh. It's not her anymore, it's barely a 10th rate imitation. I think Sam must feel the same way on some level, she's clearly not putting in the effort that she used to.
