Seriously, I do agree that Austin comes off as predatory, but James seems relaxed and complicit from the little bit we see. Who knows the truth aside from C5 employees at this point?

I don't think it's homophobic at all. What makes you think it is? Austin IS predatory towards James, and if it had been a male/female thing the behaviour would still be predatory.

Its pathetic isnt it? If the producers asked the editors to do a fair edit, by that i mean showing James asking for a piggy back to the shower from Austin as too tierd to walk from his bed... James riding on Austins back while he worked out(by the way this happened not some slash fanfic!!) these are just a couple of incidents what happened but no they have to edit the Gay guy making the move on the nice "straight" man.....

How is it homophobic? Austin has been after James since day one.
James said he wants to move beds but is worried about austins reaction, Austin climbed into bed naked with James and asked him to put cream on his bum. He pulled James towel off him and left him naked , he straddles him and tonight he was insisting he knows James better than anyone. He's acting like Craig Coates did to Anthony , he has a massive crush and is acting inappropriately especially for a married man

I'm not. A few days ago the conversation was that Austin shouldn't be sleeping in the same bed as James because he's married, implication that gay men can't help themselves. Earlier the towel-removing incident, standard male horse play, was deemed to be dark because Austin's gay.
I get the feeling some people here are amazed Austin hasn't resorted to what they presumably think all gay men do and violently bum anything with a penis that moves.

Austin thinks he and James are friends, have spent approx. 500hrs. together consistently and know each other well and also exchanged confidences. Maybe he fancies him a little, so that makes him predatory and creepy? I know a lot of people don't like him but that's going too far.

Erm, it was James who kissed the back of Austin's hand on the LF - and followed it up with the gay handshake he taught him.

No I don't think it is really I think they both should have a bit more respect for Austains husband, but Austin more than James because he has spent the last 7 years with him.
But you know James has spent three weeks with Austin so knows him better than anyone including his husband of 7 years?
It is not in the least bit predatory. James has always said that if he had ever felt that Austin was doing anything out of line in any way, shape or form he would immediately let him know. James chooses to play about with Austin, they play fight and wrestle, go in the bath together and choose to share a bed together. It is completely consensual on both sides and at any point that James felt uncomfortable with that, then he would stop doing those things.
