So... what problems are you actually having? Have you tried one of the new Ad blockers such as Adblock Plus (free)?

As the OP of this thread I have to report that a recent update from Apple seems to have improved the problem, but not completely. Trouble is, I've spent a lot of time transferring my bookmarks into Chrome which now seems a bit unnecessary.

I'll give it a go. I think your right about the adverts. They're breaking the internet.

I'm currently using the Purify app for ad-blocking on my iPhone and iPad. Works well and really spend up site loading.
