Just finished listening to it for the first time and really enjoyed it. There is quite a variety on this album, and a few stand out tracks for me, but nothing that I don't like.

yeah it's okay but not amazing. music is nice, but no notable lyrics. it'll be the old stuff that will move me more when I see him next week

I'm there Thursday. Can't wait. Hope he does at least one Floyd song.. although I think he stated recently he isn't interested in going there now and wants to rely purely on his own stuff. We shall see!

i'm going thursday too. more than half the set is floyd stuff, mostly the obvious stuff, some slightly lesser well known stuff so he covers from early days to later days. i would have liked 2 or 3 tracks from his first solo album but it looks like just one or two from the previous solo album. he's done a few shows in europe and the warm up in brighton so you can easily look up the tracklistings if interested. i don't want to spoil the set for you. it looks a bit more of a floyd best of set than his last solo tour whilst was most about half new album and half floyd

Great album with as you'd expect quite exquisite guitar work from Gilmour.
Last night's RAH gig was even better though.

Got the blu-ay version, great to listen to but I am baffled as to why there is a booklet containing part of John Milton's Paradise Lost.

Any ideas folks?

Thoughts behind spoiler tag incase anyone is yet to see him on the tour. Don't read if you're going to see him.

Spoiler

"David Gilmour: Wider Horizons" is very good. On BBC IPlayer. 70 minute interview.
