I was just wondering how many people will be recording Strictly if the shows clash with ITV showing The Rugby World Cup, I hope it does not clash or I will be recording Strictly.

Record Strictly, to fast forward through all the nonsense. Will watch Extra Slice until I can start watching Strictly with FF.

I have recorded Strictly in the past for one reason or another but I could never fast forward through any of the show as it would spoil the continuity and spectacle of it all for me, I'm more of a football person so I would rather go for Strictly than the rugby at the moment, but we are going through a beige faze since Sir Bruce left so that could well change this year, we shall have to wait and see I guess.

Rugby will take priority for me. No clash next Friday but on the Saturday it starts before the South Africa-Japan finishes though sensibly the beeb have scheduled it to finish 15 minutes before the big England-Wales game kicks off.

Strictly, because this is a Strictly forum.
Just because people are in the SCD forum doesn't mean they will prioritize it over every other thing on TV.

It's only worth recording these days, as there's too much trivial stuff included and the judges are more interested in drawing attention to themselves than adding anything of interest. I skip through the nonsense, which dramatically reduces the length of the programme.

Rugby

They even rescheduled a popular football show in my country, which I missed because of that, just to show it live.

When there are probably like 5 Rugby fans in my country

Ah well, as least something to watch for the people who want the same sex couples

Pretty much sums it up for me too The FF button is our friend. Not the BFF button I hasten to add

If an England match clashed with Strictly I'd watch Strictly on the tv and have the rugby on mute on my ipad just so I can keep up with the score. I wouldn't want to miss the chance of voting because I was watching SCD late. I do this all the time with the cricket in the summer and find it a lot less stressful watching Andy Murray this way!

Next weekend there is a bit of a clash but it's less crucial as there won't be a vote until the following week.

Then you'll be waiting until 10 pm for extra slice as its been pushed back an hour on BBC 2

Then you should have put :

I've heard that women and gay men love rugby.
