Anyone who subscribes to the view that BB-like shows are edited to show what the producers/directors prefer should read Ben Elton's book 'Dead Famous'. He had this side of the show rumbled, and it was written as far back as between BB1 and BB2...

![]() Although Ben Elton's an establishment product himself. No idea where he fits into the MTV/Endemol brainwashing business (if at all - and probably not) but he was certainly used himself to project a TV anti-establishment veneer in the 80s. |

See also the staggeringly prophetic TV drama, "The Year Of The Sex Olympics" (which I believe is available in its entirety on YouTube) which was made 32 years before BB1 even existed.
