I don't get what is so facinating about watching her at all, she is just cringeworthy and embarrassing. The way she is with Chloe is weird with all this sit on my lap stuff when Chloe is upset. Then when Austin was apoligising last night she was once again really weird and cringeworthy.

It's almost every time she opens her mouth. I don't get why people think she is great tv, everytime she is on i'm just saying shut up It's like she is constantly trying to appear dramatic, but really she is just embarrassing herself.

Usually i am interested in odd people, but Janice is just annoying. She thinks she is better than others and it feels like everybody has to watch what they say around her or she will snap.

Then help me understand because HM's like her in the past have been hated. Why is she different ?

I'm finding it quite yucky watching her - she-'s constantly plucking, picking, digging and poking at herself or greasing/basting herself up - she reminds me of a plucked chicken.

Janice is Janice..................as everyone says. She's a reality show veteran and most of us have seen her doing some of her other shows where she's often hilarious.... She really is on a planet of her own...BUT .. as last nights highlights showed she's also very astute.

I think anyone who has only seen her on CBB would see her differently perhaps as age is really catching up with her and she hasn't perhaps had the best of edits. I'd say she's far too bonkers for anyone to actually hate.

Janice is amazing in this clip. (and Bobby) When they outright laugh together after Farrah says Jenna is 'younger and more respectable' i laughed out loud. I had to watch it over and over again.

Her interjections re Austin were spot on..she's seen right through him.

I find the not so great Janice really embarrassing to watch, with absolutely nothing to like about her. She is acting like a doddering old woman....I can't believe that some people find her entertaining....

I think you have to take Janice as she is. Yes, she's a nightmare but she is so unashamed about it you can't help but laugh. She's crazy as Hell but I do really feel her heart's in the right place in spite of her abrasiveness. She's a caricature, and people like her do work on reality tv.

Her opinions on Austin were her own, doesn't mean they were right. Pesonally I think she opened her gob to get attention.Nobody was asking her opinion, she proffered her usual risable comments. She's a pain in the rear end. Duplicitious and not at all interesting.

Janice is the crazy/embarassing aunt you secretly love.

Once in a while, she comes out with something so silly I spit out my drink. When Jarrah returned to the house and Jenna said, "I don't know what's real or what's fake" and Janice just randomly shouted "My tits are fake!!!" I lost it. I don't know why it was so funny but her random moments like that make her a good HM for me.

Agree. She's refreshingly herself and makes no apologies for it. In a world full of people-pleasers and apologisers, Janice continues to march to her own cantankerous, outrageous, self-absorbed, yet strangely very human and loveable beat. I love her for her raging against the machine and refusing to grow old gracefully.

But I do think she's someone you will either like or you won't, and if you don't, no amount of persusion will make you change your mind as most of the time, in objective terms, and by comparison with the standards applied to others, she's pretty inexcusable.

Anybody's opinions are there own. Quite a few agree with Janice's and she was doing it to stick up for Chloe who has been rather abused by Austin. If you think she just did it for attention then some might say you haven't paid any attention to the context.

Great post. I think she is fab as a housemate and just wish that BB had shown us more of her and less of Austin,Farrah and Jenna, we know she is doing far more than is being shown because the other americans all seem to hate her, I personally cannot imagine anyone in the context of BB having such negative feelings about her as I find her hilarious just from the small snippets we see and she does not have to do very much to get me giggling at her behaviour. She is a harmless dotty old Diva.

She didn't just randomly say "passive aggressive" for the sake of attention...she was pulling up Austin for his behaviour in seeming to be apologetic to Chloe without actually genuinely being so.

Agreed, I love watching her march to her own beat. She's the tenplate for the "When I am old I shall wear purple" poem to my mind lol.

I'm a bit surprised at the Janice adoration ^^ TBH.

She leaves me cold. Maybe I don't get it but - I don't find her funny. She's rather cutting and unnecessarily vicious at times. As a woman of a similar age I admire her flexibility but she shuffles around and uses her age to get out of pulling her weight - I think she's just rather spoilt and a bit full of herself.
