Like the previous prologue, it doesn't seem to give too much away, if anything at all really. Never the less, it makes a nice lead-in for tomorrow's episode.
Love the Tommy Cooper impression.

Is it on Youtube yet? Amazon won't let me view it as I've not got a UK issued credit card.

I enjoyed it, but I am worried that they are watering down Capaldis Doctor, which if they do shows a real lack of nerve, I mean come on have some guts and stick by your intention of bringing a different take on The Doctor to what we have seen with the two previous ones, this mini felt like it was a echo of Matts time, are they really going to let some criticism (which they knew would be coming anyway when doing a shake-up) effect them and make them go running back to the old tried (and tired) ways, have some backbone.

The Doctor at the beginning of series 8 was brilliant and a great refreshing contrast to MS and DT Doctors, stick with it and head forward don't regress backward that just leads to staleness and eventual disinterest (its what happened in part to 80's DW).

But its just a prequel where the tone could be different from the main series, I hope the main series proves my concern wrong.

Can't believe it's now on other sites but still not on the official bbc doctor who site. It's almost as if the bbc is purposely trying to annoy fans.

It's available on their Facebook page. It popped up on my news feed and that is how I watched it.

I missed the silmilar to 11 part. Hes 12.....sarcastic, spazzy, mean, sad . angry.

He even calls the guy dumb...11 would never do that lol

Its also been stated several times he is this way for a specific reasom

While there were parts that were certainly very 12 there was also elements and a tone that was very eleven IMO.

I think other than the 11-esque slightly childish music, there's not a lot there that's very 11. The Doctor has always been childish to an extent and Capaldi plays it much more dryly and less manic than Smith would.

Or maybe the Tennis? It certainly got in the way of Eggheads. It was still shown, but later than billed.

I liked the idea of the bodyguard companion (Bors?), even though the actor was a bit iffy (some of his delivery was kinda wooden).

His pants looked like a negative of 1's...

There was a moment or two of 2...

And WW1 battlefield, could he be referring to 2's end? War Games? Or the Family of Blood lad with the special abilities?
