I'd rather Sherrie do that, than laying into other housemates a la Bobby.

Sherry has a face like a slapped arse all though CBB . One of the most disappointing HMs ever to enter the house .

I would have put Gail more in the 'grouchy housekeeper' role meself.

She must go next IMO.”

There is an uploaded clip from nearly a week ago where BB ask housemates viewer's questions, and in one of them it mentions Sherrie being 'Mum of the house'. To which she responded by saying that she didn't think of herself like a mum, but that because sometimes some of the younger ones talk to her and she gives them advice she doesn't really mind it too much.

In other words it was news to her at the time. But it appears that now she has used this outside information as part of her game inside of the house.

blimey, pedantic much!

maternal- motherly grandmotherly whatever. it's only a generation which divides the two. a grandmother is still a mother.

and she is also technically old enough to be a grandmother to James, Austin, farrah and chloe.

Hmm well I thought it was funny that the HMs all called her Nana and she called herself mother. Grandmothers being an awful lot older than mothers obviously

not always an awful lot.
I'll only be 18 years older than my grandchildren mother!

I read this - then looked at the name - I guessed it would be you.

I think we're singing from the same old worn out old hymn sheet today.

Ha! Oh god, sorry - I'm boring myself at this point, must stop!

I just can't get my head around it, though. If it weren't for posters like you who share my opinion, I think I'd be questioning my sanity a bit!

It has been particularly cynical on here for the last few days. I hadn't been on for a long time before this BB, now I know why..!!

I know! Like I said on the James thread, if ever there was a time to play the game it was then - they were even standing at podiums as in a gameshow. If they want to stay, they have to make it personal, make a plea is what they were asked to do, she did what was asked.

You're so right... And yet... A host of FM are outraged that she did what was asked of her!

AWFUL WOMAN DOING WHAT SHE WAS ASKED!

Yes she used the Nana thing to her advantage and why not. Like every good Mum she knows that judicious use of mild emotional blackmail is sometimes justified when dealing with difficult children

It grates on me every time they call her it, while technically she may be old enough to be granny to some of them Janice is far more of a "Nana" figure- slightly dotty, cant be told anything and goes off on one occasionally but no one can quite figure out what she's ranting about.

Nothing "shameless" about Sherrie's speech at all. It did the job - good for her

I beg to differ.
The bits we've been shown of Sherrie have been very entertaining, like being Janice for the day. We saw 30 seconds worth.....That would have been a great episode !

I really think it's time you can watch the housemate of your choice via red button.

I would have completely zoned out of Jenna and Farrah.
