Yes it is rude to interrupt but it really doesn't compare to telling someone to shut the f*** up does it? Really?
There are other ways - 'Excuse me - you weren't there and I'm talking' - or something along those lines. Even without the eff word it's rude - you don't tell people you've just met to shut up.
The defence of Farrah is beyond ridiculous. We have all seen for three weeks now how rude, abrasive and foul mouthed she is. Carol McGiffen is straight talking but she's not rude.
